Have Iobit license terms have changed to start from the date of purchase instead of the date of activation!!!?

I bought several Iobit Professional software titles in one of Iobit's numerous sales. I didn't install them for several months as I only bought them in because of the sale prices at he time. When I did eventually install them the claimed 1 year licenses only lasted for a couple of days before expiring.

If Iobit licenses now automatically start from the date of purchase, this should be made clear in EVERY Iobit sale rather than waiting for the customer to realise when it is too late.

I've bought lots of Iobit software over the years and it always gave a full 365 days license from the date of installation not the date of purchase. What date were the license terms changed and how was this communicated to customers?
