We have the freeware. Is this really any good? and safe? we read about the 360 -ouch!! Computers are our tools - we don't have the time or inclination to fix things all the time. Sending the computer to be repaired - that's travel, and so far we haven't found anyone, regardless of cost (and we're not made of money) who does much better than we can do. They're mostly smoke and mirrors. We notice the program "fixes" things, but it doesn't tell what specifically is being fixed. Some things don't need fixed - we just got the system to be more user friendly and efficient, and computers don't come that way usually. Is this really worth buying. We tried emailing this company several times regarding questions, with zero response. Is this the usual? We've thought about buying, but without a little more info, no go. We'd like to know

Only ASC has a paying version. + a free version.

All other products are free.

IObit Security 360 is also free but it is in beta version, and from your comments I think you should wait for it to come out of beta.

ASC and SmartDefrag are out of beta and are very good.

But please read how to use the programs before using them!!!

I'd also recommend reading as much of the forum posts as time allows to get a feel for the product.

Program Like all Beta's -- Is (are) not a fully Working APPLICATIONS or Working Categorizations as thy were made to do..or interacted to apply..

 

1 As in Computability

2 Working 100% with all operation system

2 Generally Speaking MAY conflict with or ather type Of apps

3 Possible no restoring Point Can be applied

4 May Not Do as its Clams Until its Fixed or reprogrammed in a added fix

in its next version..

 

So any one deciding to use a BETA type application Be aware ,and use with Caution.. READ,understand WHAT actions you are preforming ,Before one blindly allows it.MAKE sure YOU can and have the ability to repair our reinstall a system (as in access to a device) Ether by USB port,or a CD reader device

Just ONE advice!!!

 

Please do not use CARE button before Scanning couple of times to understand and put the found problems into Ignore List if you don't want to apply the changes offered before hitting Repair.

 

Read the whole thread of USAGE of IOBIT PRODUCTS in Lounge section as Admin solbjerg points out.

 

For your information, ASC PRO version (paid) has more functions and Optimization than ASC FREE version.
