Firefox 3.6 beta 1

My FF Download Helper is not supported by FF 3.6B1 and I really love that add-on. Almost enough to make wind back to 3.5!

Just discovered that my FF Freecorder Toolbar is not compatible either along with a few others! This is disappointing as it took me ages to get the Freecorder Toolbar set up with all my radio stations. So what do I do now? If I roll back to FF 3.5.4 I'll probably still lose these add-ons when 3.6 is released. BUM!!

 

Do I stay permanently with 3.5.4 or look for alternative stand-alone programmes to replace these two add-ons as this could be an ongoing problem with them every time FF is updated!

It was noticed that you could have the both in you system... without uninstalling 3.6, update will certainly come soon

 

try to reinstall 3.5, it's possible to work...

Thank you for your suggestion. I have disabled the extensions.checkCompatibility in about:config and rebooted, but no joy there. However, I've now installed Tubemaster++ and it's doing the job well for me, so Download Helper may be history!

I did use Video DownloadHelper but now use FlahGot.

Works on lots of sites and is constantly updated, seems it should work with FireFox version 3.6 too.

Hi, Woz,

 

I installed FlashGot and didn't get a non compatibility message from FF. Just have to work out how to use it now.
