homogenes interfaces

titou56

Recommended Posts

I use both key products since their first ones béta. And I use they witch happyness and secure feeling.

however, I think that the interfaces of ASC and S360 could have a better homogeneity... ;-)

For instance? Oh well:

ASC interface is fate of the ordinary, appealing, vanguard S360 is austere

the icone PRO is active in S360 and not in ASC

the buttons of menu are nice in ASC and too classic in S360

the size of the interfaces are differents, just of somes millimeters

Do you agree ?

cheers

suggestion

What do you think about the following ?

ASC :

It seems that S360 is quicker to delete cookies and other internet surf files... so i believe that it might be good to move "registry" scan at the end of the search in ASC schedule... in this way : spyware, private files, unused files and then registry.

Idem with the defrag command in system diagnose, the defrag could be performed when reading the security report...

S360 :

provide a graphical interface in the spirit of ASC one.

Cheers

jjj- Asking this question shows that your English skills are developing at an accelerated pace! The word used should have been spelled homogeny. You should give yourself a well deserved pat on the back for spotting this inaccuracy! Keep up the good work as the progress you have been making in your English skills shows not just here, but in every additional post you make!

Hi jjj

I think the thread name should have been either Homogeneous (similar) interfaces or Homogenized (made similar) interfaces, as this is what the subject applies to.

titou is from France and can possibly have made a small mistake too :-)

homogène is homogeneous in French

Cheers

I salute you!!

I was just trying to help jjj understand its meaning and the spelling.

About the subject homogenization, I do not think much about it, but find it fine that some do.

Hi jjj

How did you come across the word Apollonian?

1. Greek Mythology. Of or relating to Apollo or his cult.

2. Other uses for apollonian . a. Characterized by clarity, harmony, and restraint. b. In the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche, of or embodying the power of critical reason as opposed to the creative-intuitive.

3. Often apollonian just means . Serenely high-minded; noble.

How does one say it in Tong? :-)

Cheers

Apollonian-- :- apologia,Apologetic-

-poor substitute )acknowledgment of offense, and expression of regret.written or spoken-apologet'ics.n/.branch of theology Christianity ,charged with defense of apol'ogist,- that what i found

now we just say to each other -

"a-crude way of asking,(slang) short or lazy, less meaningful

,"forget it!"," a SH**,Sorry",Dunworrybouit " -"did'n'meanit"

one easy word-there are 12 different explanations spoken ,depending where ya from--

flowing from a person--to a other-yet the meaning is accepted as one is !

also know by some as pigeon English---poorly spoken-degenerated!

yet used -my family friends ,wording (slang)-sorrytaya'ik)( i regret, from me to you) or ikkasorryma " i am sorry mother" adding the last valve -dad.or name of Pearson--

again degenerated ,lazy -a mix --

we speak words ,that we cant post --yet mean the normal to us--

and used daylong--its a mix of 4 races -spoken as one --hard to find the corrective written words-- can be very irritating, tending to be misunderstood--offense easy taken-by others--

so if i were to say to a person ya a bastard, 2 meanings

some friend gave you a present-gift--

(depending on tone-SWEET soft)-you are a wonderful human being--

then in a other tone of sound-(sharp hard )you are a dog, of a disgusting human being--abusing the person=

yet many would take offense to the written word--find it offensive meaning, --

no legal parents? that were married in a church or wedlock-by a apostle-elder,

So here in the forum, we have members that speak or write the QUEENS English

so i understand it as --or a form of pure English-there are wording, that are just

not comprehensive, nor for me to able to , understand ,i must check there meaning

and hope its right as i may understand it--

now how about that for a long winded answer!!

foot note its the best way -the wording (slang) i can write --take no of fence by it or meaning this looks normal to me--

Hi jjj

Yes languages get more complicated - but also more interesting the more on knows about them.

Bastard has a lot of different meanings, and if you bring the context or the tone into it as well it has even more. :-)

Shows that you are getting much better at English when you start to think like that.

Cheers

Understood

Hello itsmejjj

don't worry, I believe I understood the meaning of your response

In my country, France, there is not so much differences of maners of speaking, although there is also plenty of meaning of words...

In Europe, there are so many languages even within the European Union ... but the English prevails. I would call the "Universal basic English".

I must confess that on this forum I feel so much joy to discover other English:-P

yes -i agree ,the difference is in my case our our family ,and close friends, case its broken down,to 1/4 even less , the basic English, for instance if you had a fully speaking Enlish

person sitting in our mist, sharing fried ship ,and we spoke our way,he would perhaps pick a word here or there .yet feel very uncomfortable to say the least, as words would notarize, in tone laughter, sound, gestures,he may ponder

are we (joking) at him colorfully. yet far be that we would, even at or best attempted speech -(tong) making him welcome-in our life meeting people we always MUST be very careful to outsiders( non family Members)-and how we address them ,in manner and speech.when we visit others,

yes you are very corrective,as you say--

I must confess that on this forum I feel so much joy to discover other English

Hello Itsmejjj ;-), Solbjerg ;-)

Because of the ongoing controversy between IObit Malwarebytes and I have a little trouble to get back on the subject of this thread ...

however I think it would be good form after having proved his integrity on the current case, (and I do not doubt for the issue) IObit brings new life to the interface and S360, to repeat my previous posts, by sticking to that Advanced system care witch is more attractive ...

Hi titou

Yes I read your comment, - true!!

For our "hina tangata" - he is really exhibiting remarkable improvement in English.

I also enjoy coming across special expressions - be it regional or slang.

But you wouldn't have much of a chance understanding me if I started to write in the Bornholmian dialect, which is why I try to write in English :-)

solbjerg- I saw your comment and I very much share your interest in slang expressions and I wanted to share with you an example of how I have had fun with using them over the years...

After I returned from Taiwan I worked for some businessmen who were originally from Shanghai and they and some of their fellow expatriate Mainland Chinese friends who owned trading companies in the area would get together for dinner. On one occasion after dinner I got to talk with another American who worked for one of the trading companies and spoke excellent Mandarin.

We hadn't been talking long when I noticed that everyone else had stopped talking and they were listening to us two non native speakers ply our acquired linguistic skills in their native language. It was at this point that my interest in colloquial Mandarin slang that I nourished while I was living in Taiwan not in the cloistered Foreigners Compound but living among the Taiwanese immersed in local everyday daily life served me well as I took this very bright young fellow who had learned Mandarin at a University in the United States on a tour of some very colorful and quite inscrutable Mandarin Chinese double entendre which completely unbeknownst to him left him saying 'Why yes, I love being a lesbian' as his last line of the conversation before his boss told him to stop talking.

titou56- The disruption in the thread was a ramification of your choice of wording in your original post which all of the posters to the thread proceeded to comment and expand upon. You may have noticed that it doesn't take much to take us innocently off course. Its certainly not as intentional or deliberate as a thread hijacking, but it does lead to comments that are not directly related to the original subject. Could you please refresh me as to exactly what "the ongoing controversy between IObit Malwarebytes" consists of and how it is preventing us from getting back on the subject of this thread?

Have a nice day ;-),

Now that is a clear and succinct mission statement that will definitely rectify the discussion on this thread!

I've included attachments of the screenshots of the ASC v3.40 and Security 360 v1.1 GUIs that I just upgraded to this week with their respective settings customizations.
