You are right IObit ought to remove that/those ones

 

I found these removal instruction on the Internet:

 

1.Start Internet Explorer.

 

2.Go to Tools > Internet Options > General tab.

 

3.In the Temporary Internet Files, select Settings > View Files.

 

4.On the View, select Details.

 

5.Click the Internet Address column header, and search for the Internet addresses of the cookie file(s) below:

AtlasSearch.txt

AtlasSearch.com

Atlas DMT

(AtlasSearch.txt AtlasSearch.com Atlas DMT)

 

6. Delete those and anything else you don't wish to have

something else is needed for all windows!

 

this crap called atlas dmt cookie is driving me nuts! for what i understand they are in cocos with microsoft so a malware/spyware /cookie blocker with a proxy dead box before it mess with the system -active state with .net frame work as base .......

Also this:

 

Click Start/Controlpanel/Internet options/Privacy Tab/sites/enter block (not so familiar with XP though)

 

Must be blocked in the privacy tab or else they will come back.

Atlas DMT is a very low-risk threat. It's just a tracking cookie and all websites use them, even the IObit forums.

 

Cookies aren't malicious. They are just small text files so can't do anything to your computer.
