Error:

Got dosens of BSOD when starting up..

BAD_POOL_CALLER 0x000000c2 (look picture)

What did it:

pffilter.sys

My specs:

HP Pavilion a618.dk

XP Home SP3

768 MB SD Ram

Athlon XP 3000+ 2.17 Ghz

The solution:

It was IObit Protected Folder or more accurate, its file called pffilter.sys

After delete the whole program and its pffilter.sys file, i dont have any BSOD since.

To determinate what cause an BSOD i can recommend the program BlueSCreenView from Nirsoft: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html

Found that bad sinner here:

http://www.imageuploading.net/images/12115/bluescreenview

MBAM and AVIRA Premium Sec Suite did not detect that file as any thread.

Hi Binde---

The trying to fix problems yourself is admirable!!

But if asking questions in a forum - it is a good idea to wait for the answer first.

I know that the impetous of one's impatience can be almost impossible to resist in that situation, but it will leave us all of us with no clear answer to the problem.

Nice to make your aquaintance!!

Cheers

Hi Binde---

Yes I am from Denmark - specifically from Bornholm :-)

The (your) "solution" in this case was just to uninstall the program - sometimes it is a good solution to make a clean install - but uninstalling does not show any real solution in my opinion,

But your comments are appreciated nevertheless. :-)

Welcome to the forum "mad hatter" :-)

Cheers
