PM shortcut to asc4

after i installed asc5, PM shortcuts are to asc4 (for example, PM shows it needs quick care and i click the link and it will try to open asc4) but i have already uninstalled asc4 to install asc5 so an error msg keeps on coming up...but i can still use asc5...

is this happening because i did not uninstall probably? i tried to reinstall asc4 but numerous error msg always comes up stating that previous files exist and cannot delete.

is there a way to correct this?

if not, how do i remove PM? or how do i uninstall asc4 correctly?

ASC-5 No longer includes the PM program,

so you need to delete any shortcuts that were created to run PM or ASC-4.

Then create any shortcuts you need for ASC-5.

Uninstalling any program will usually not delete the extra shortcuts for it.

i don't see a shortcut for PM it starts with windows so do i delete from C\program files (x86)\iobit\asc4\pmonitor (the application)?

Oh okay, if you had it configured to load at Windows Start,

ASC-4 did not get completely Uninstalled.

That option should have been disabled before Uninstall.

I think you need to Disable that option before deleting the asc-4 files.

If you can't get into the setup section to disable it, you may have to re-install ASC-4 so you can.

I think just deleting the folder will Not fix it and you will get an error message at Startup.

I'm not sure about that but I think that is the way it works?
