Hi , i found somewhere on the internet that disabling paging file(page file) can improve pc performance amazingly but only if you have at least 3,4,.... gb of ram ( or more)

What do you think about this is this true or it can cause problems ? :mrgreen:

i would leave the pagefile at default settings, some people say its faster if you move it to a secondry hdd but very marginal.

Are you experiencing problems or just looking to 'tinker' ?

I am no expert but if you have no problems then I agree with sunny, leave it at default.

I Agree, Windows-7 uses the 'Page-file buffer' when it Needs it.

Earlier versions of Windows did Not use Page-file as efficiently as W-7 does, with addition of 'Super-fetch'.

Hi all :smile: i dont have problems and i didnt disable page file i just found that while i was surfing on the internet :lol:

I wont disable it cuz i dont have problems with slow pc ( not so far)

I also have W7 i know that the page file is important for windows 7 so i wont do that :mrgreen:

I was just wondering what you guys think about this and TNX everyone for the answers
