Questions About Asc With Antivirus 2012

Recommended Posts

Hi IObit.

I have few questions about Advanced SystemCare with Antivirus 2012

1. IObit said that Advanced SystemCare with Antivirus 2012 is using Bitdefender "Award Winning Engine and IMF-s" , my question is Does Advanced SystemCare with Antivirus 2012 have the same detections rate and protection like original bitdefender ?

2.So i guess you'r working on ASC V6 as Cicely said so i want to ask you :

Will ASC V6 will have better cleaning options , and optimizing computer more better than "Advanced SystemCare with Antivirus 2012" or it will be the same ?

3. Is Advanced SystemCare with Antivirus 2012 good enough to protect us from threats even if it is in " BETA " testing ..

( I KNOW I HAVE TO REMOVE MY ANTIVIRUS TO INSTALL "Advanced SystemCare with Antivirus 2012" SO I'M ASKING )

I hope someone will answer me

Sorry for my annoying question , i'm just curious

All the best and Cheers

Hi Lyon,

Please refer to my reply below.

1. Regarding the detection.

I am curious too. Our testing engineers did perform some comparison tests. The information I got from them is that ASC with Antivirus is not bad, or we should say that it does a good job. There are many aspects will influence the final result. There is no absolute best one. But all users can have a test if they like.

2. Of course, we will improve the cleaning and optimizations. That's why we plan the ASC V6. But I'd like to know is there any specific function you want us to improve? We want to hear your valued opinions and suggestions.

3. I think it's enough for me. All the staff in IObit use Advanced SystemCare with Antivirus 2012 as the all-in-one suit for both security and performance. Even though I'd like to remind you that there is no solution that offers a 100% effectiveness rate for detecting virus and malware.

Did these replies answer your curious?

contribute to

I'm sorry but I just want to contribute. Criticism of my views as acceptable.

Care Adwanced Sytem a strict user. But anti-virus program I tested two weeks, but I think it's missing several aspects of its competitors have compared you.

Scan to file, say a little close for at least 1 minute waiting time before scanning, and late in doing large file scan bititiryor say.

Again, I found the said (patch.exe) s, I'm hiding in RAR box unchecked, but I welcome the suggestion to a regular scan finds dangerous options, an option he should scan RAR files.

Hi USLUBank, welcome to IObit Forum! :-D

Thank you for your contribution, but I find it hard to understand your suggestions.:-(

Since suggestions are important for IObit, they should be correctly undrstood.

You can write in your own language (Turkish) and also give the English translation (Such as from Google Translate), so I may be able to better understand and comment on it.

Cheers.

Selamlar.

What do I do about these problems? In essence, this PC is incapable of restarting with all the previous settings. I lose almost everything when this pos crashes, which is far too often. Thanks for looking, and thanks, ahead of time for any responses.

Hi cjweisser, long time no see!!!

First, you should run a chkdsk /R from Command Prompt (Type cmd to Run... in Start menu and click OK)

Type chkdsk /R to Command Prompt window and Enter.

Type Y to the question and Enter. Close Command Prompt window.

Restart Windows, wait checkdisk to finish in black screen (about half to an hour).

After Windows starts, type sfc /scannow to Run... in Start menu and click OK.

Wait SFC to finish. (You may be asked for the installation CD during this operation. Make it ready please.)

You have Avira and AVG antivirus programs in your PC, please clean uninstall them by their speciaal uninstallers (you can find them by Google search)

ASC w/AV has Antivirus (Bitdefender engine), so it is not advisable to have more than 1 AV software in the PC.

BTW, you have extremely low RAM for today's softwares. It should be at least 1 GB of RAM

Cheers.

permissions and other problems

Hi Cj,

Couple of things straight of the bat.

Run sfc scannow in repair mode.

download Dial a Fix, and run the permissions repair tool.

run checkdisk in repair mode.

remove your other anti-virus.

Update your DirectX to version11.

And Finally

BEFORE you do Any of the above make an external back-up

your D recovery drive looks to be corrupted, and change it from FAT32 to NTFS

Roy

EDIT: XP is used so DirectX 11 can not be used.

Since cjweisser using XP Home edition, using Dial-a-fix for permissions a good call Roy!

:!:Also secedit.exe should be downloaded for XP Home.

Please see the quote below before using Dial-a-fix.

Dial-a-fix also has a critical unpatched bug that will delete your C:\Documents folder.

It is highly recommended to read the Warnings page before downloading and using this software.

Cheers.
