Cannot uninstall Smart Defrag 2 or install update

I cannot uninstall/remove Smart Defrag 2. Error message says setup files corrupted, advises installing a new copy, but new copy won't install because setup files are corrupted. What to do?:twisted:

Which Uninstaller program are you using ?

Have you tried downloading a new setup file - unblocking this downloaded file and then installing it.

If the setup file is corrupted - this seems the logical course of action.

A clean install is also recommended!

(Of course first after you have tried the uninstall with an uninstaller program - perferably one with the possibility to do a forced uninstall.) fx. IObit Uninstaller or Revo Uninstaller.

Also, are you using a download manager/accelerator software ?

If you are, try downloading the fresh copy of IObit Smart Defrag without using it, sometimes a download manager/accelerator software can corrupt a file.
