Hello, Yesterday I installed this software but when I make or download the 3 png files from here and I place them in StartButtonSkin map, nothing happens. I can't choose the icons because the icons are not in the start button menu.

 

Anyone knows how to solve this or what my problem is?

Btw, I have v1.6.0 Start Menu 8

Hi Mazzletov, welcome to IObit Forum! :-)

 

After copying the png files to StartButtonSkin directory, exit Start Menu 8 and restart it.

Now you can choose your preferred start menu button from the Settings of Start Menu 8 in right-click menu of it.

I have a problem with start buttons icon... If i say to use icon in small view then the START button is bigger than the others and not look so good because appear a square around. Any solution for can choose small start buttons for when people use with the small view??

Hello everyone! I am new to the forums and I decided to try and make my own icon. I followed the exact way to do this and put the pictures into the correct folder but for some reason they are not showing? Does anyone else have a problem with doing this?

So I figured it out. It says in the description to add .png to the end of the picture name. I took that off and just put the name of my picture then _normal, _hover, _click. I made one of the Borderlands Psycho.

Nice picture, but I personally would want it as my start button though. But thanks for the heads up Nixin that pictures need to be in png format. :)
