Disparity between program and its name

When I run purchased ASC7, program is labeled "free" version. What's up?

Yes, that is correct. On the ASC UI, you must click on the relevant area such as Activate Now-Licence-Upgrade-Register section and enter the code you received from Iobit when you purchased the product.
