Hi Scannan, sorry to but, User Interface in Settings in SD does not have skin options, so skin can only be changed from the top of the Main GUI from the t-shirt figure.

With all those problems from SD in maki's case, I would suggest a Clean Install of the latest Smart Defrag 3 which can be downloaded from the link in Smart Defrag 3.3 (3.3.0.368) is released! [October 22, 2014] topic.

No prob. I assumed that when maki said superlightened, he was referring to transparency and not a complete change to a different skin.

OK Scannan, you may be right! I didn't think that way.

 

Another try to change the theme can be done by modifying Config.ini file @ C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\IObit\Smart Defrag 3

 

Exit SD3, change the bold red value to 0 or 1 below in Config.ini and save the file, restart SD 3.

Theme=2

 

0=Classic

1=Black

2=White

There is no folder called config.ini

config.ini is a File in smart defrag folder located in Application Data.

I suggest you uninstall SD completely and reinstall the latest version and see if you still have issues.
