Dolby pop up.

Fourteen drivers updated, but now get this popup, the currentDolbyaudio driver is 7.2.8000.17 and the software application expects driver version7.2 7000.4 please install a validdriver and sftware application combination. I am not very technical, can anyone please advice what i should do now, thanks.

Welcome to the forum.

 

It is telling you that the updated driver does not suit your present Dolbyaudio version. It is quite likely that there is an updated version of Dolbyaudio available, for which the updated driver was created.

You have two choices.

1. Rollback the driver to the original version (which is probably 7.2.7000.4)

2. Check if there is an update for the Dolbyaudio application and if there is, update it. This should be compatible with the new driver.

I recommend that you create a Restore Point before proceeding with any of these actions, so that if any issues occur you can restore your system.
