Unbelievably complex to renew license

I have just paid $12 something for a renewal of a ASCultimate 3 pc’s license. Confusingly it states 1 unit. Before the payment my program stated 15 days left on the license. The mail response from payment claimed “Your payment is currently being processed.” The license box has just kept counting down and is now on 12 days left. Tried to check my second pc’s license but it went from saying there is 12 days left to that the number of licensed pc’s has been exceeded and promptly stopped being a licensed pgm to being a freeware. I have 4 pc’s but one is only a spare and not in use at all and I try to not have a licensed ASCU pgm active in the spare at any time. So I have 3 pc’s that I use the licenses in but now it apparently will not work in any of them… WHY does it have to be so hm hm complex? I can say that the automatic renewal costs much more than doing it manually, I got charged about double the last year I tried using the auto renewal so I don't see that as an option either. I have always viewed IOBit as a simple "no bull shit" organization and programs along that philosophy, but now?

Who will help me untangle this sh..t?

Yes it does suck. You are not the only one complaining about this issue. Sadly, once again Iobit are adopting the silent treatment in answer. You are probably better off in future just letting your licence expire and then taking advantage of the special offers to buy a new licence. Sorry I could not offer more support, but this is just a voluntary forum and unless Iobit decide to address the issues. there is little we can do.

Now handled it all feels alright again and I can continue to feel great about IObit and the great programs. About that I just would like to comment about the Malware Fighter... WHY so expensive? More than 3 4 times that of ASCU... why? It is a great program but why so expensive?

About renewing ASC... the price setting I feel is so unpredictable so I have tended to grab the best update offer I have found at the moment (just before expiration dates). I tried the auto renewal option but got very disappointed when I was made to pay about twice what the official offers were. After that I do not trust or care much for Avangate, keeps reminding me of Watergate:D......

Where you see the expensive IMF? Actually, it is not so expensive as you mentioned as "more than 3 4 times that of ASCU"?

I just made a quick head calculation :D ASCU upgrade 12.95 for 3 pc's and the IMF full license 19.95 (19.95 X 3 = 59.85) then I could not find the upgrade price for the IMF so I just guessed... but 59.85/12.95=4.62... so I don't think my head calculator was too far off...? Anyway 59.85/29.99 makes the full price of IMF about double that of ASCU. Perhaps all of the work that IMF does is in the background making its value more obscure than that of ASCU, but I still think it is a significant price difference, enough for me to run the free version of IMF. Now people with better economy than mine probably don't mind but my pension don't allow for much of anything really... But after all this nagging about prices I have to say I greatly appreciate having the possibility to upgrade such a great program as ASCU for only $ 12.95 for 3 pc's! making it about the best value software there is, IMHO... :)
