My inaugural post.

AVG has found the following - is it real?

 

Win32:Malware-gen in C:\Users\brian\Downloads\advanced-systemcare-setup.exe

It's the same for me.

I tested with AVG, AVAST, Malware bytes and Windows Defender. They all found this Trojan : Trojan:HTML/CoinMiner in the following file : C:\Program Files (x86)\IObit\Advanced SystemCare\Surfing Protection\Database\ASCSpecialUrl.db.

The infection is named as "very serious".

Could you tell us if it's true.

It's very important for your followers, and if it appears it is true, I guess that a lot of the followers will stop this program.

I see once again you have replied to a question which I have already answered.

Yet you have ignored dozens of posts which would benefit from Iobit support.

Is this some new strategy from Iobit, to tell the Forum Admins/Mods that their input is no longer relevant.
