iTop VPN Install

Whenever I  install an IObit product, it asks if I want to install iTop VPN.  I always check No Thank You.  But it installs it anyway.  Everytime.  Why?

At present, we are partnered with iTop VPN to help promote its product iTop VPN, which can provide private access to the Internet with military-grade protection.

If you do not want it, please uncheck the checkbox from some apps when you install that app. 

If you unchecked it but it installed, please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelper.exe

Double click to run this tool on the PC with the problem and click 'Save report'. 
After it finishes, you will get a popup window to tell you where the report file IObit_Debug_Info.zip is saved d. Click the 'OK' button to open that saved folder.      Send the zipped file to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into

This same thing happened to me not once but several times with different products on different computers all with box checked "no" Its your software that is installing anyway and i am very hesitant to download your "tool" because frankly i am not trusting IOBIT much right now, i didnt ask for these and in fact declined but you install anyway thats a virus. Absolutely horrible marketing where you once had a good reputation. Rather than ask customers to do the work and send you a "report" how about you test it for yourself.

Actually, you need to  uncheck the checkbox if you do not want the program.

It is guaranteed that the program will not be installed automatically without your agreement. Please check it carefully.

Lori Bee, clearly stated in the post, that the checkbox was unchecked,....so it is not helpful for you to tell Lori to uncheck them.

It also make it seem like you are not reading the posts fully.

Iobit uninstaller is a *very* good program, so you should ask yourself why you cannot make an easy fix to an issue that is hurting your reputation and causing hesitancy when you ask people to renew their payments.  Everybody knows about unintended and troubling interaction between newly installed and pre-existing programs (esp. when the pre-existing program is Bitdefender) ; so when you do not give us a very CLEAR chance to stop installation of iTop code you have a problem! 

 

If you think you have already given us a clear choice, and it is evident that a lot of your customers are not getting your message, then try again and make it clearer.  Remember this: you are the party that is at risk of losing customers, and it seems that all you need is a MINOR change in your UI.
