The new version of Iobit Uninstaller 13.2.0 is now getting flagged by windows as a PUA

PUABundler:Win32/IOBitBundler

 

Can this be taken care of please.

I have that done. But can the .exe file from here be sorted out so that it wont be flagged by windows security

I doubt very much that Iobit will do that, as the file is safe and they have always constructed them this way.

gm all. I too am getting this flagged and it is somewhat disconcerting. Sure, I can whitelist it, but how sure can I be that I am not whitelisting an exe that has been infected.

So something has changed: IOBit has changed the tool to include something that Windows Security has now detected, or Windows Security has recently been updated to 'detect' this ... or, the exe has, at some stage, been infected on the IOBit download site.
