SWTOR doesn't run correctly

My computer is running the game too slow to be playable.

I'm trying to figure out if I just need a new graphics card or if the issue is elsewhere. I know I could definitely use a new graphics card, but not sure if it'll help if something else is causing it. Any help would be appreciated!

It would seem that your system exceeds these requirements (including your graphics card)... however I don't see your dvd drive in the logfile... it must be 8x or faster... I will look again, perhaps I missed it!

It is a Hitachi 16X drive, more than adequate!

Your system is more than adequate... there is a problem within your windows though... I am looking into it. All those Sidebyside errors are windows related. Have you installed all the latest Windows updates?

Perhaps your internet connection is inadequate?

Are you using a wireless router, and if so are others using it at the same time or are you far from it (have weak signal)? If so, try jacking directly into it via Ethernet cable... or try an experiment (move closer if signal is weak & get others to stop using it for a few minutes while you see if the game performs better).

I am currently updating windows. I ran the internet speed test.

Results were: Ping: 46ms, download speed: 20.34 Mbps, 0.97 Mbps

These results are with another person playing SWTOR at the same time. I've tried to play it when no other devices were using the internet and have had the same issue.

windows update shouldn't take long! If you are prompted to reboot after windows update please run TFC by old-timer before re-boot. It is here: http://oldtimer.geekstogo.com/TFC.exe
