Problem with PerfectDisk 12 and SystemCare 5.1.0 [SOLVED]

Good morning,

I have a serious problem with IObit SystemCare PRO 5.1.0. After installing Raxco PerfectDisk 12 and after deep ones with SystemC, Raxco PerfectDisk software no longer works and shows the error "unable to connect to local machine with current user. Error Interface not registered", as described in the forum

I noticed that this problem ONLY happens after "DEEP REPAIR OF THE REGISTER". I am attaching the report after the repair.

Please solve the bug that disables Raxco PerfectDisk 12.

Hi ferdinandooo (good afternoon) :-)

Please first check your settings especially in Privacy and Junk cleaning for a setting that cleans Raxco Perfect disc..

Then check if you are using the automatic function settings and check if you have the defrag option selected in Deep scan. You shouldn't have as you are using Raxco Perfect Disk for that chore.

Then when running the cleaning operations you should check the "Details" for references to Perfect disk and choose for the program to ignore that/those specific cleaning(s) - prior to clicking the clean button.

Hi ferdinandooo (good afternoon) :-)

Please first check your settings especially in Privacy and Junk cleaning for a setting that cleans Raxco Perfect disc..

Then check if you are using the automatic function settings and check if you have the defrag option selected in Deep scan. You shouldn't have as you are using Raxco Perfect Disk for that chore.

Then when running the cleaning operations you should check the "Details" for references to Perfect disk and choose for the program to ignore that/those specific cleaning(s) - prior to clicking the clean button.

thank you for your help, but i can't solve the problem.

I think you don't understand what i wrote. Sorry but i don't know english well.

I wrote that the problem is ONLY if i make DEEP REGISTRY FIX!! The problem is not in other function (as you told me "Privacy and Junk cleaning" or in defrag option), because the problem comes out when i make DEEP REGISTRY FIX.

I clean my registry, and after i had the problem that i can't open PerfectDisk 12. After I repair PerfectDisk 12 re-installing the software, and than it works again, BUT if i make another time DEEP REGISTRY FIX, it does NOT WORK again.

I hope you understand me! Sorry for my mistakes!

Please be aware that in the registry repair function High risk means there is a high risk you will damage your system! When running deep registry repair, I suggest you run it as Scan only. Then review all the listed items and review them. If you do not know what a listed High risk item is and are certain it should be fixed, uncheck it before using the repair function!

 

You can also right click the item and click Ignore and this will place it in the ignore list so it will not be detected again!:grin:

If it is solely isolated to the deep registry fix you should try to abstain from doing the deep fix, I think.

Perhaps try to untick one or two items here (one at a time)

Or just try to untick "Enable deep clean"

I have narrowed the issue down to 3 registry issues:

the solution to Raxco PerfectDisk issue

 

Hi all,

 

We are sorry for the inconvenience, our engineers have developed a solution about it.

 

Please follow the steps below to solve this issue.:smile:

 

1) Please confirm that your Raxco PerfectDisk work normally, if not, please use the Rescue function of ASC to fix it.

 

Open ASC 5>> click the button "Rescue" >>choose one restore point (note: please set restore point to the time before the problem occurred)>>click "undo"button

 

2) Please confirm that you have updated your ASC to V5.1, If not, plase download it from the link below and install it.

2) Download the Reg.zip and extract it to get Reg.dbd.

 

4) Replace the original Reg.dbd in the ASC installation folder.

 

Usual path: C:\Program Files\IObit\Advanced SystemCare 5 or C:\Program Files (x86)\IObit\Advanced SystemCare 5

Reg.dbd (8192 bytes) is updated with the latest internal (online) update, although the size is not the same as the attached file by Cicely in post #15 , it is newer, so the issue should have been taken into consideration.
