  1. Only you can decide what you need. The free products you have listed perform different functions to those of ASC 13.5. Seeing as you have those other free products already installed on your pc, it should be quite clear that they perform different functions. If you uninstall them it will have not affect ASC which is a completely separate program.
  2. And I am supposed to know all this....because???? Just because your system is new, does not mean that there cannot be issues. In fact it is only as you start to install programs that issues will show up. Seeing as there are not a load of other posts from users stating that Surfing Protection does not work, it is fair to assume that this specific is due to something related to your system. So, like any other issue, it would be helpful if you gave some details. Also, I assume that you know, that in order for surfing protection to work, the extension must be installed to your browser.
  3. Yes it does. Obviously you have an issue on your system, but as you have given no details, it is difficult to help you.
  4. Add Internet Download Manager to the Whitelist in Malware Fighter, and it will be allowed. Also read the Product Manual.....https://www.iobit.com/product-manuals/imf-help/
  5. Have you tried another browser, such as firefox.
  6. I have just gone through the same steps and installed Uninstaller. I do not get that pop up that you get. The program simply installs. Please follow these steps exactly.... Uninstall Iobit Uninstaller if it is installed on your pc. When it is uninstalled....go to...C:\User\xxxxx\AppData\Roaming......(xxxxx=your user name) Go to the folder....Iobit \ Iobit Uninstaller......Delete the Iobit Uninstaller folder Reboot your PC. Use the link I gave you.....you will be taken to the Forum download page......click the Download button.....this will take you to the Majorgeeks site. On the Majorgeeks site...Do NOT click Official Mirror....Do NOT click Download Now......Click the first Download@MajorGeeks Link. When you have downloaded the Uninstaller.exe file....run it. When the install box appears....skip any offers to install any other software.....click install.....if you get an option that says "Skip This"....then click click it. The program should now install without issue.
  7. Ok. That clears it up. You do not need to click that "Get Free" button. Just hit the "X" in the top right hand corner of that box to exit it. The program is already installed as the Free version. Now you just click on "Manage Licence" and enter your Licence Code. Then you will have the Pro version.
  8. This is a different problem. Your first problem was that Uninstaller would not work. This problem is that it will not download. I do not understand where you see the..."get free button" When you use the link I gave you, it should take you to the Majorgeeks site. There you simply click the official mirror, and it will download the correct installer. If it again fails to download, then your anti-virus/anti-malware program(s) may be stopping the download. Temporarily disable your anti-virus/anti-malware program(s) and download the installer. Then install the program. Once it is installed, re-enable your anti-virus/anti-malware program(s)
  9. Just saw this....may be worth a look.....http://apalonclothing.atwebpages.com/matshita-bd-cmb-uj160-driver-windows-10.html
  10. I think you may be out of luck. I even checked Panasonic (who are the makers) and nothing for your drive.....I think you will end up buying a new drive...they are cheap....or even a usb drive What model Toshiba do you have. I have worked a lot with Toshiba and if you tell me the Model I may be able to find something. Also have a look here....this site shows clearly that there is no Windows 10 support for your drive....https://burners.burn4free.com/matsushita-matshita-panasonic/matshita-uj160b.htm
  11. Where did you download the software from. Did you purchase the licence from Iobit directly. Remove the program completely from your pc. Then download it from here.....https://forums.iobit.com/forum/general-forums/news-offers/231004-iobit-uninstaller-v9-5-9-5-0-12-is-released-may-09-2020 Run the installer and see if it runs without issue. Please let us know how it goes.
  12. Also....have a look here....https://semantic.gs/matshita_bd_cmb_uj160b_ata_device_driver_download
  13. Have a look here.....https://www.driverscape.com/manufacturers/microsoft/cd-rom/page46 Also see here....this seems to be a problem for a lot of people.....https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware/windows-10-blu-ray-drive-matshita-bd-cmb-uj160/99fe9a5f-3618-4acf-8368-d95edf990a0e?page=1
  14. Try this link....it is Toshiba support.....https://support.dynabook.com/support/search?s_query=Toshiba+Application+and+Driver+Installer
  15. The options for Autocare schedule are too limited. You can choose either "Everyday" or "One specific day (ie..Sunday)" This is too limited for systems that do not require a lot of cleaning. It should be possible to have the choice of " Every two days"...."Every three days"....or even better still to be able to choose more than one day. It should be possible to choose numerous days such as....Monday/Wednesday/ Friday. I hope you will consider this suggestion and implement same.
  16. TerranceM Please read the question carefully before replying. The OP asked about moving the Performance Monitor to a second screen....not how to select a monitor.
  17. If this is your first time running the program on your pc....then the scan can take a long time as it is checking and logging everything on your system. I would suggest to just let it run.
  18. https://www.iobit.com/en/refund.php
  19. Yes it has some options to revert changes. Also you should always have recent restore points available so you can undo issues. Also, it is totally unnecessary to run every available function of ASC. Only run functions which may resolve problems. Read the Product Manual....https://www.iobit.com/en/product-manuals.php
  20. First....I do not understand how you just installed Advanced System Care 5 . The latest version is Advanced SystemCare 13. Are you sure that it is Iobit software you have installed. If it is actually Iobit Advanced SystemCare, then it is important to tell us whether it is Pro or Free version, as there are different functions available. Most important.....ensure that you have NOT selected...Enable Deep Clean...option in Registry Clean settings. It is too agressive and can cause issues. Yes....it is always advisable to have recent restore points so that you can undo any issues. Do not use every scan option at once. Only scan items which are of use to you, and then do so two or three at a time in case any of the options cause issues. Read the Product Manual.....https://www.iobit.com/en/product-manuals.php
  21. It is not asking for proxy details....it plainly says...."IF" you are using a proxy server.......obviously you are not so ignore it. It appears that Malwarebytes is blocking the installation.....so temporarily disable Malwarebytes while you run the installation.....or else put the installation file in the Malwarebytes ignore list / whitelist. Also I strongly recommend that you download the installation from the Majorgeeks link (which you will find in the News & Updates section of the forum, as some third party vendors included unwanted programs.
  22. It is always advisable to use another Anti-malware program once in a while as no program can be 100% effective all the time. So if SpyHunter found items, then you should remove them. Also check your your Browser Protect settings in IMF7 to ensure that the required features are switched on....as Conduit is a browser hijacker.
  23. .msi files are just a package containing instructions which will include a .exe file, and as such should be monitored. If they are not then I agree there is an issue. However, in order to help we would need more info. Could you give some examples of programs which you installed and were not monitored, because they were .msi. I recommend that you also read the Iobit Uninstaller Product manual, to ensure you have it set up to monitor. Also read some recent posts in the Uninstaller forum regarding Monitoring. Here are some links with info about .msi. https://community.broadcom.com/symantecenterprise/communities/community-home/librarydocuments/viewdocument?DocumentKey=0e501eb2-b17e-471a-abcb-a638045342ce&CommunityKey=41d8253b-a238-4563-8718-ed7623beafbc&tab=librarydocuments http://www.differencebetween.net/technology/software-technology/difference-between-msi-and-exe/
  24. Why would you not want the installation tracked by the monitoring mechanism??
