Game booster problems (not showing all scores, possible incorrect reporting)

So, what in the world is wrong with my computer? We both ran the Game Booster 3 diagnostics, and his AMD Radeon HD 6450 gets a better graphics rating (a 5) than my Radeon HD 5770 (I got a 1). Not only that, but as you can see, at the end, it doesn't give all of the other scores that it should be giving.

 

What in the world is going on?

P.S. The only way I can see what version is currently updated is to download it... as GGAME FORUM doesn't show the whole version #. I don't run GB so would choose not to download it if possible. Check it out and see if you have the newest version.:smile:

 

EDIT: Mel, the setup file is the same dated May 04. 2012, (3.5.0.1526). They update the pages everday, I think. It is seen as July 14 today.

I think that Enoskype has verified that you are running the latest version, though I'm not sure if by updating the pages everyday they always verify the download is the latest version?

Is it that your machine is performing poorly by your first sentence in you first post?

So, what in the world is wrong with my computer?
Or it is performing well and you just find the report incomplete and confusing as indicated by the title of the thread?

Game booster problems (not showing all scores, possible incorrect reporting)
Have you updated your Graphics card driver to the most current version?

 

Another possibility is a corrupt install of GB. You may also consider a clean install using the guidelines here and here.

[EDIT] by Mel: I have verified that the version installed (Version: 3.5.0.1526) is the current version... I have downloaded and run the diagnose sucessfully. It looks like RickA's diagnose function did not complete sucessfully.

 

Did you try to re-run the Diagnose RickA?

 

If you did and the same thing happened, then I recommend the clean install.

This is a previously unreported problem and I can't advise. Hopefully Masterblaster will look at this thread... he is very knowledgeable with GB. I am going to ask Cicely from Iobit support to look at this as well... hopefully it will be resolved.

 

Also... please answer this:

I am concerned that my graphics card isn't running to its full potential, yes. I get lag on game that I should get very good performance on, and that others with seemingly far less powerful GPUs get.

 

Here's the Windows scores:

 

Processor: 7.2

Memory (RAM): 7.5

Graphics: 7.3

Gaming Graphics: 7.3

Primary Hard Disk: 5.9

Have you tried running a Graphics BenchMark program, such as 'Heaven' ?

That will be a good way to test the complete system.

 

If Heaven does not run properly, my suggestion is to start Testing and/or Replacing hardware.

I would start with a new Graphics-card,

then maybe RAM-modules next.

 

Of course it could be something as simple as a loose or bad cable-connection,

at Motherboard or H-drive, which has happened to me before.
