Data Base Updates everyday [REGULAR PROCEDURE]

Recommended Posts

It is not recommended to run two antivirus programs as it can lead to conflict. Only one realtime protection should be active, so you must choose which one you wish to use. ASCU can also be run in compatability mode, which will help to avoid conflict.

Hi papab,

Thanks for your feedbacks and Scannan's timely reply.:-D

As Scannan mentioned, ASC Ultimate is an anti-virus software. Thus, it needs to update the database everyday to protect your PC against the latest threats.

And ASC Ultimate can run with other security software in compatible mode.

For any other confusions, please feel free to tell us.

Thanks for supporting IObit.

updates

Hi Peleus,

I would hope that it updates more than once a day, to cover any new threat.

However your comment got me thinking

In ASCU AV settings there is no "regular update schedule option"

it might be usefull, ie every 60/120/240/etc mins.

Or it may be IObit controlled, automatically updated as and when.

Hi pell31,

Thanks for your feedback.

Yeah, you should receive the database update everyday. How long have not you received the database update?

Besides, please download the tool from: http://download.iobit.com/test/info-helper-v6.exe

Then double click to run this tool and click “Save report to Desktop”. So you will get zipped file ASC6_Info_File.zip on your desktop. Please send it to us so that we can look into the issue further.

Thank you for supporting IObit!
