I have new laptop and have tested everything to be working. I downloaded some software and driver booster 9. Was watching some youtube videos and then scanned with driver booster. I then lost my audio. i tried the audio fix button and it doesnt work. Went to device manager to update the driver and still no audio. on my lower right speaker icon "No audio device is installed". How very annoying. I hope that driver booster did not screw up my audio just so i can buy the pro! Please someone help me fix this please. Thanks

Issues such as this or similar have been dealt with in the forum many many times.

Had you looked, you would have found the solution. In fact, there is a dedicated tool in Driver Booster, called...Fix No Sound

Reading the Product/User manual would also have shown you this.

I have the same problem. I operate a computer shop. In setting up NEW laptops for customers, many time Driver Booster 10 shuts down the audio. I have tried to run Driver Booster no sound only to be told it cannot help and directs me to a web sight that tells me to try all the remedies that I have already tried. The only solution that I have is to relaod Win 11 from scratch and then be sure NOT to run Driver Booster.

Hi there,

For the sound problem, first please make sure that you have installed the newest version of Driver Booster from https://cdn.iobit.com/dl/db/debug/driver_booster_setup.exe. Then load Driver Booster >> click the Tool icon on the left side of the main screen>> select the tool Fix No Sound.

If the problem persists, please try the solutions provided in https://www.iobit.com/en/knowledge-how-to-fix-no-audio-output-device-is-installed-error-in-windows-10-133.php?from=mailfb to see if it can help you fix the problem. (Note: you can use Google Chrome browser which support translate the webpage or use Google Translate https://translate.google.com to help you understand the content)

If it cannot help, please download https://cdn.iobit.com/dl/db/debug/DBInfoHelper.exe >> double click to run this tool on the problem PC>> click 'Save report to Desktop' >> find db_info_YYYYMMDD.zip on your desktop >> send us the zip file to look into the issue.

Thanks.
