When I switch to game mode ,my laptop crashes!! :-( I'm with Windows 7 x64.

I think beta 2 will be better then beta 1!!

I know it's off-topic ,but i want to know what about ASC 4.0 Beta?

I'm using a 64 bit 4800 series ATI radeon HD graphics card and I have my driver updated, it's telling me it's not. Using Windows 7.

Hi,

 

I was surprised that System Tweak changed my settings right the way without a warning when I clicked on Top Performance

 

- There should be a warning, or selectable choices of what we want to optimize.

 

 

 

When I change to Default then back to Top Performance, my "Old Value" seems to change Every time.

Lastly,

 

I think the Red on black text can be changed to a brighter red or another color instead of Dark red.

I have ATI Catalyst 10.8 but gb2 not identify my driver version.

 

GB2 identify "Driver packaging version" not Catalyst version.

Hello feedback-2,

 

1) That function is disabled on default.

Please check the "Desktop Windows Manager Session Manager" in the service lise.

2) I believe that graphic card is the correct one.

Your Graphic Adapter is ATI Radeon HD 4350

 

ATI Catalyst supports most 5000~2000 series of ATI Radeon

actually ran into a pretty intresting bug, it only happens when gamebooster 2 happens (windows 7, 32bit) if i'm running gaming mode on, while running something java heavy (example: watching a stream on justin.tv) if i rapidly click my start menu, my computer crashes and acts as if i restarted it (asking if i want to boot up normally or into safe mode) i did this by accident, wasn't sure what it was, thought maybe it was just my computer, so i tried without gamebooster 2, didn't get the problem, tried with gaming mode on and got the probably after a few clicks.

 

edit: it seems while having gamebooster 2.0 on with gaming mode, any type of java work (so far only have had this problem in firefox) will cause the computer to crash.

 

Edit2: basically the computer will stutter twice, then crash after clicking on something (basically freeze, unfreeze, freeze again then completely crash but its all within a few seconds)

I have a Radeon 4870 with the newest Driver (from Catalyst 10.8).The Program detect (like describe some post over me) the Catalyst Version (10.8) and the Driver Version (8.762) of the GPU-Driver --> aren't the same --> GB say, pls update.

On the Ethernet Driver it seems you made the same "mistake".

I second that (but with Radeon Mobility 3470). Same mess with versions of Catalyst and driver.

When doing a mouse over the services to see what the servers are, they turn off way to fast. They should stay on until the mouse is moved.

Norton not recognized. Probably difficult to write help for all programs I guess.

To me it's a bit too much Swiss Army Knife.

I think the focus of this should be to improve game speed period.

It has sort of become a cousin to ASC3 now. Sort of blurs the line between them.

Right click on taskbar to revert to normal mode. NICE!!!!!!

I didn't see how much memory was saved when launched. Is this shown? If not, it should be.

Having almost the same problem.

 

For the Gigabit Ethernet it displays the new version "7.021" when I have the "5.7" version. When I tried to go and download the new version it turns out the "7.021" version is only for Windows 7 or Vista. I cannot install that version because I am running XP on my PC. So the "5.7" version I have right now is the newest possible for the XP OS. I wanted to just get rid of the update since I cannot install it for XP..

Game Booster 2 Top Performance Bug

 

Everytime I click "Top Performance" it will say that I need to reboot for all changes to take effect. So I do and when I do and open Game Booster up again it says "Your System is not in Top Performance" which makes no sense since i just did it. And everytime i redo it I still get the same results. Also if i go and click top performance and then go to another tab like game defrag n go back it still says default it isnt working

That could possibly be because of another program stopping changes made to your computer not sure though.

 

I also get the driver bug saying that it needs to be updated but is at the newest version.

This happens for:

Broadcom NetXtreme Server 5700 (Current Version 14.2.0.5 New Version 14.2.0.5)

Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (Current Version 13.2.1.5 New Version 13.2.1.5)

 

~Using Windows XP.~

 

Quick Suggestions:

System tweaks should be selectable not just run all and/or be ignorable so it wont always say its not in top performance same for drivers and the game essentials this way it wont always say something isnt applied when you dont want it anyway. Would be nice if it also said how much memory is saved.

Ok....when i press on the Top Performance button from System tweaks it gives the following errors ( something about my internet ?) see the screenshots.

I am getting the exact same message as Dutu40. So top performance doesn't seem to work for me. Also using Win7 64

 

Another problem is the game essentials telling me my Steam is out of date, I'm guessing that this is because it is installed on another drive. Would also be nice if we had the option of not being informed abot things we don't want or need (xfire in my case).

 

Also I am getting a repeat of a bug I got in v1.51 that does not appear in v1.5.

First off when GB restores my processes, Windows Explorer opens showing the GB2 directory. My guess is you set this purposely to help beta testing?

 

There doesnt seem to me a BG.INI anymore. How can I show you my processes?
