I've been trying v1.5 and so far it's really working Great. :grin:

I've not tried any of the Automatic-run functions or different skins yet though.

 

I suppose the problem with doing an Update is that it will download an Older version, correct?

5 minutes ago I downloaded from MajorGeeks Internode - Australia and the file was not corrupted. This is the Mirror link in the post.

I just used FireFox normal (no download manager)

Neither ASC4 Beta 1.0, nor ASC4 Beta 1.5 are paid softwares. ASC4 Final will have a free version and a paid version.

Nonetheless, I believe that the corrupted download file is not a general glitch, but something to do with your connection or as said by soldbjerg, your already installed ASC files.

solbjerg signature includes: Clean Install concept Clean Install .

I still don't know if you used a download manager such as GetRight.

A problem

 

I ran Turbo Boost. It screwed up my sound. I heard nothing in the standard programs (Winamp, and Microsoft Media).

It took a while but I fixed it.

It also removed the print spooler.

I tried to print a pdf and the program said the printer was non-existent. I fixed that too.

I think I'll stay away from Turbo Boost for a while.

You should have Configured Turbo Boost and unticked Disable Printer Support service and sound process/service before finishing Turbo Booost ON.

I agree. I should have done that. The only reason I posted it was that I wanted other people to see it before they might do the same goof I did.
