after that all browser are being used by other program

i cant open any of them then i shut it down for a while

then turn it back on on the preloader it run chkdsk

and there are corrupted file in there after that as ussual

i open windows media player and a mozzila

the used memory are 1,6G then i shut it down again

and go to for a while

but now i just turn on windows media player and open mozzila 253210_4033656322970_52376832_n.jpg this happen after a few minutes so the cause of this problem is the browser?

but after i run a few test with no windows media player opened

it works normaly the physical memory was the same as it was before

so my question is how can browser keep using the ram?

now my ram in use is 1800MB if i open windows media player it will surely lack of memory how can i stop it?

on 31th may i open 2 browser+windows media player+some other program+many other program in the background and nothing happened?

sorry if my question is confusing

Welcome

Welcome to the forum guaplei

only iobit360 i think

IObit Security 360 has not been supported for a long, long time, it was replaced by IObit Malware Fighter.

You will need to uninstall IObit Security 360, I suggest you do a Clean Uninstall

See This Post for details.

Screenshots are in This Post

You can then install IObit Malware Fighter, for a description and download link see the thread IMF IObit Malware Fighter 1.4 is available!

This might not fix your RAM problem but it is very important that you don't use unsupported security software.

All the best, woz of oz

Hi guaplei

I advise you to get an antivirus program as soon as possible - if not sooner - MSE is free and quite good.

In the meantime I advise you to run an online virus scan fx. with ESET online scanner.

IS360 is not an antivirus program it focuses on other types of malware and on top of that it is obsolete and has been for a couple of years - therefore you should also follow the advice of wozofoz. In the near future IObit will release ASC 5 with antivirus but I suggest you wait for it to come out of beta - it won't be free though - the beta version of course is free..

The reason we are talking about antivirus and IS360 is because we think that your problems may spring from this - (in other words - you may have some viruses or some other malware that haven't been caught.)

Cheers

only iobit360 i think

and its browser problem

the internet booster did not optimize the opera browser

and the memory are low

even if it are may be slower and eror

but at least the memory are low

yes i did

and i installed IObit malware fighter

run on full scan and it detect 600++ threats

the i check my flash disk

it found 2200++ threats

so this is because IS360?

but i have it for about 2 years

and it seems fine

why the problem only comes up now?

btw IObit malware fighter is a good antivirus

or it just focuses on other types of malware?

an i have been run a few test

on startup > use 500 - 700mb as usual

people may say this is high because i dont have any gadget,or skin, rainmeter that caused to take that much ram

run ff it takes memory for about a 500mb

so my in used ram is 1200 then i open windows media player

it takes about 200 - 300 so its 1400 - 1500

and the browser it keeps growing growing until my ram is full

FYI my ram is only 2GB on may it ussualy just stops at 1700 - 1800

but now that 2 program closed and there is this much pop up eror

that taking too much modified memory just look at it http://forums.iobit.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=9977&stc=1&d=1338723368

the modified memory is bigger than the in used memory

and that memory wont released it just stay there

the only thing you can do is reboot or for the faster way is logging off

so i just browsing and open wmp and whenever the windows give this warning http://forums.iobit.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=9978&stc=1&d=1338723531

i just logging off and then logging in again

but wait something is fishy here

i didnt run wmp and ff only take 250mb

but why the memory in use is 1,5GB?

the top 3 memory taker is only ff ,system, explorer that less than 200mb

other than top three are just small

so where did the memory goes?

Hi guaplei

The IMF program is NOT an antivirus program either, it cleans other malware from your computer.

Please install a real antivirus program as I strongly suggested in my previous post. For now please run an online virus-scan!

When you get the warning about memory I think you should follow the advice and click the button that closes these two applications.

Isn't aurora an add-on to Firefox? Do you really need it?

Do you really need the catalyst center? It's mostly for controling video, isn't it?

How much free space do you have? How large is your harddisk? How much RAM do you have?

IS360 was discontinued about 2 years ago, and you must have had popups recommending you to change to IMF at that time. Also you must have wondered why the program never updated its definition files?

Hi guaplei

For now just give me the amount of free space on your harddisk.

Looking forward to hear what the online virus scan found.

If your internet connection isn't stable I advise you to download MSE Microsoft Security Essentials and install it to be able to run a virus scan.

That will require less time on the net.

Cheers

i rembered now catalys control center or CCC in the

process list is the biggest memory consumer after the browser after i kill the process tree nothing much changed the modified memory still at 1GB

see itr crazy right the modified memory is 300mb larger than in use memory it makes my computer very very slow and that modified memory wont go except if i close all the program aka log off

and something strange happen again...

i have kill the ccc process tree but why it still show up ccc process monitor or something

is this program associate with other program?

but hey..... after i sacrifice my dropbox

the modified memory is lower to 500-600mb

wow... why is this happening now? i think i installed ccc a long time ago? should i uninstaled? i think i got that when i want to update my driver

and my online scan stopped again at 99%

with 112559

3815 infected file

and 03:12:12 total scantime

is it possible that when only these process working

ram can be consumed to 1,6Gb? and i think those

modified memory are growing again =="

but not high as before it wont pass 800

and now its drop to 600

but still... there is something wrong if you get a

modified memory that big

i think the ccc caused that problem but i really dont know what it is every windows notification that notify to close a program its process has a ccc in it

i want to go to sleep now i hope when i wake up i dont see huge pile of eror windows in my computer like yesterday or the day before that the online scan has not been done yet

it 23:35 in here i hope the online scanner doesnt get forced closed due to lack of memories before it finish scanning

oh yeah.... and another question

do by any chance active boost, turbo boost, game boost

take a part in the big memory consumption?

thats all for today i will be waiting for replies tommorow

They should all make the resources consumption smaller.

I would suggest disabling the MOM.exe and CCC.exe processes,

if they are loading at boot-up,

using the Process-Explorer program to do that.

(those 2 drivers come with the AMD and ATI Graphics products, but I don't think they should be loading at boot-up and are Not necessary)

I noticed that those were doing Strange things to one of our computers.

You can download 'Process-Explorer' here, if you don't have it:
