Hi gorin Would you please go through all your posts and make sure they are understandable in English. If you are unsure about the wording please write it first in the Netherland language and then go to a free translation service and have it translated - and then paste that translation in your post. It is very hard for me to understand some of your posts, a few I don't understand at all. So please! If you do want to use lapidarian style - please make sure it is absolutely correct. Furthermore it doesn't from what I have been able to understand have anything to do with asking for help or trying to explain problems to others. Therefore I wonder why you post them?? Later we may make an independent description But as always check out the settings and choose the settings you want. The option to have it run a chkdsk at next boot or one of the other options works fine. It is the chkdsk that checks your files - not the chkdsk that also checks your free space. You have to choose that in the settings - it is not available in the Boot Defrag window (might be a good idea to have a button for that function there) When you have to choose the drive to defrag automatically you just mark it and then click on the golden "no" and it will instantly change to a green "Yes". Hi kitteh I am somewhat confused by a December 7 release of Cataclysmic expansion - is it this year? And is it a deluge - a flood of biblical proportion? Well I probably don't know enough to grasp it. What I do know is that many people jump right into using a new appliance without reading the manual, and I suspect that this was the case in the majority of cases that you report had experienced trouble with ASC. First - one ought to read the manual - we have one in the forum too - it is called Usage of IObit Products - please read it. Second - one should always configure the program settings to ones needs before running the program Third - one should never run the program from the Care button the first few times, - run it manually and check all "problems". Fourth - always check what the "problems" found are - and place those you do not want "cleaned away" in the Ignore list. This is especially important if one chooses to run System Optimize - this function tries to optimize your computer by - for a large part - saving resources. (Not for configuring you computer to run predominantly to make WoW run optimally) I understand why you are upset, but in my view the most probable culprit is yourself, if you did not follow the procedure I just shortly outlined above. Hi TNPanMan Yes by me too. In the folder it says that the additional.def file is still the one from the 30th of November. They must have made a mistake with the file they uploaded - also it isn't larger than the one from 30/11 I will wait to sometime tomorrow/today (2/12) and check again to see if they have fixed it - wait 10 hours or so and then check again. Your setting there now is like mine except for the level - I have mine at 3% while I saw somewhere that the adverse effect of fragmentation started to rise at a higher level there. I do have SmartDefrag installed though and that option ticked. But I do not use automatic function or scheduled defrag - just run it when I think it needs to be run. Usually takes less time than having a cup of coffee :-) Cheers solbjerg p.s. 2000 fragments doesn't necessarily mean 2000 files fragmented - can be much lower than that - several fragments from each individual file :-)

Hi Sarakael Open Office is fine too I think, but I think the right procedure is to copy it to Notepad, save it in unicode and rename it Deutch.lng and then place it in the folder. Well you are probably going to finish it before me. I am still at 20% - am painting the interior walls and ceilings, doors and panels in my house. Well Sarakael I use Excel - I find it very handy for moving the lines in the coloumns so that they are in the same line, this makes for an easy overview. I could have used OpenOffice Calc instead, but are more familiar with Excel. I am now at 20% :-) Cheers solbjerg

Hi Sarakael It seems like you have a language file with some holes in it, mine does translate those commands you are showing in the screenshot. You could try to delete your previous .zip file and if you have it unpacked delete that too, then download the latest setup .zip file and see if here is a difference to your translation file. Don't let it replace the previous version, but delete that first - I have seen sometimes that it won't really replace it - just check if it is similar and some small differences is sometimes skipped. I have deleted all languages from my version except English and Danish to save space on my stick, but I would like to check it. As far as I have noticed there are 3 lines with Properties in Cloned Files Finder? Is there one more in the right click menu or have IObit missed putting that in? Cheers solbjerg p.s.
