  1. Seriously???? I have no idea how to answer your question. If you have a program that requires you to turn off your AV/AM protection...then you should be asking your question on that programs forum.
  2. A. Your question/issue has nothing to do with the title of this Topic. You should have opened your own Topic, in order to receive assistance. B. Issues similar to yours have already been dealt with many times in the Forum, so I suggest you search there...(Usage of Iobit Products)
  3. Look in your Junk File Clean settings If you have the Pro version and you use AutoClean...then look in those settings also.
  4. I cannot understand what your problem is,,,, You quoted Cicely in your first post, and her advice was quite clear....so why don't you follow it..
  5. You have now provided the information which explains your issue and what actions you have taken. Why did you create a folder named Protected Folder. It probably causes a conflict with the program. Rename it and see if it can be dropped into the Protected Folder window.

  9. While I genuinely sympathise with you for your issue, I am not sure what you are expecting here. As you can see from the initial post, the reply from Iobit was a request for the debug file. So, it would be logical to assume that it will also be requested in your case. Thee video does not really help as it does not show anything pertaining to ASC. I must however ask the question...... When you took your pc back to Acer the last time, did they not tell you what had caused the issue, and more importantly what to do to prevent it again.

  11. I am sorry...but I do not understand your question/suggestion. When it is defragmenting...it is writing data to the disc....

  15. First...I have moved your post, as you posted in Smart Defrag Feedback, and this is not feedback. It is a specific issue. In future, please post correctly. As to your issue....I have just clicked on the "Green Button"and it did take me to the Majorgeeks site, where the Download is... smart-defrag-setup.exe.... and is for version 8. So, if you are going to the Majorgeeks site and getting the setup file without the .exe, then your system must be blocking it.
  16. It is very difficult to assist you when your post is so confusing. First you say that Iobit Uninstaller says that the program is uninstalled....then you say.."IObit uninstalled refuses to let me uninstall this program"... Which is it? Also give more detail of the issue...such as any error messages...etc...
  17. It is a false positive from Avast. Open Avast Quarantine and restore Uninstall. Then put Uninstaller in Avast's Ignore/Whitelist. If you cannot do that.... You should temporarily close Avast. Download Uninstaller from the Majorgeeks site. Install it. Turn Avast back on and put Uninstaller in Avast's Ignore/Whitelist.
