  2. Which driver did you update. Did you try rolling back the driver to the old one. Did you try using a system restore point to restore your system to a time before the issue occurred.   3. That should not have occurred. The link should have been posted here on the Forum and not sent in a Private Message. The whole point of the Forum is to help everybody. As to your issue. It would appear to me that seeing as every link you are given has the same outcome, then it must be something on your system that is creating it. I advise temporarily disabling your anti-virus and or anti-malware programs (including Windows Security). Also temporarily disable Windows Controlled Folder Access. Then Download Uninstaller from Majorgeeks, and install it.
  4. You should read the User Manuals. Especially for Driver Booster, which can cause serious issues. Also, read the Driver Booster posts in the forum.
  5. Did you look at the link I gave you. There is a dedicated Topic there that deals with your issue.

  10. In the Registry Clean settings...make sure that the Deep Clean is NOT selected....as it is very aggressive.
  11. Cicely Lori Bee, clearly stated in the post, that the checkbox was unchecked,....so it is not helpful for you to tell Lori to uncheck them. It also make it seem like you are not reading the posts fully.
  12. The links I gave you should have made it unnecessary to have to go to a Technician for a reformat, as they show you how to do a re-install or format yourself. Anyway...what's done is done. With regard to the other products....I cannot advise you, as you do not state which products you received. However, I will say that if you got ASC, then there is no worry as it is an excellent product. That said, I always strongly recommend that you should read the User Manual(s) before using the product(s) so you are familiar with it's operation and settings.   16. Did you read the FAQ's. Did you read the many posts dealing with this and similar issues. In particular regarding users anti-virus/anti-malware, preventing the opening of Iobit downloads.
  17. You posted in the ...Usage of IObit Products...section of the Forum. Did you read any of the Topics before posting. Did you read the FAQ's as you are supposed to do before posting.
  18. You are certainly not ignorant, and you should never think so. It should not matter what browser you are using. If you copy and paste the last URL I gave you, into your browser it will open a Google page showing many solutions to your missing icon issue. Then just pick one and follow the instructions.

  22. That is a windows issue. Check the Taskbar (Icon) settings in windows. I presume the ASC and DB programs still work normally.

  24. It sounds like you have set Driver Booster to create Backups of your drivers, so that is the most likely reason for the large folder size. You should read the Driver Booster User Manual so as to understand the functions of the program.
