ASCTooltips window

Since installing ASC w AV I have noticed a window on my taskbar labeled ASCTooltips. I cannot maximize it and it does not always come up. I can close the window. What is this and is there a way to shut it off? I noticed a previous post mentioning this without a resolution.

Don't know if this will work but go to Settings ----> Notifications and see if any of the boxes are checked. If they are then un-check those that are checked and see what happens.

It doesn't work. I tried taking off all the checks, turning silent mode on or off. It doesn't make a difference. I think it's a bug.

 

I'm having the same thing on both my laptop and HTPC, it both happened after I installed ASC + AV. Before that I have been running ASC Pro without any issues.

 

On my HTPC it's especially annoying. I notified iObit of the issue over a week ago but haven't received any reply. I don't understand why they aren't fixing it.

 

My HTPC is never shut down. It hibernates and as I run my media center (XBMC), the moment I start to play a movie or song a new instance of ASCTOOLTIPS is started. I added a screenshot of what it looked like when I first exitted my media center after a few weeks.

 

Do something iObit, I'm not used to being ignored by you guys.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

 

The issue of ASCTooltips window will be fixed in the later updates.
