Driver booster obliterated my pc

Recommended Posts

Yea, so i used driver booster 8 to update many drivers at once. The first part (Device Drivers) went smooth. Installed all, restarted my pc, everything ok. The second part (Game Components) is where the fun begins. Downloaded all, program said to restart pc so i did. After this my PC cant boot even to BIOS, black screen, USBs are not powered. I went to computer service where i was told that motherboard and CPU are dead. Any ideas what went wrong and why is this program killing so many PCs? Best xmas present ever.

Did you try booting from a rescue disc (usb).

My motherboard doesn't power up USB ports. So i am unable to boot anything.

It is either the BIOS or the graphics drivers. If the graphics drivers are wrong then your monitor will be blank

and it will look like nothing is working.

When you did your driver(s) update, did you also update your BIOS. If so, then this may be the issue.

Did you try using the reset button?

Try, using a rescue disc in your cd/dvd player.
