What exactly makes you so sure that those particular e-mails are coming from a member of the forum?

 

If you don't want to share it here, you can PM me.

 

There are ways to find out the real source of an e-mail.

 

We, the admins, are trying our best to get rid of those spammers. As solbjerg points out it is sometimes impossible to know a member if he is only sending PMs and the receiver does not let us know.

 

BTW, what do you expect IObit to do on this case?

Hi friend. I do not know what I want IObit to do. I just want this shit stopped. I'm very up set. I have joined two other forums. MSE and Macrium. IObit is the only one I have shared my email with. The reason I suspect this forum is because some of the links are in an Asian language. I do not want to leave this forum but I never want this to happen again.---gary

Hi jjj. I will think about all you have said. I remember you warning me about my ip a long time ago. You said you had a program called crawler and you could find me. I thought maybe you had used your program to find me, so maybe you should take a little blame for me thinking as I did. I'm glad to know it is not you doing this to me. You can look at the header and source of an email just like you can a web page. That might help you backtrack to the sending server, but that still won't tell you who sent it.

 

What IObit site/link/server did you block?

 

Take enoskype up on his offer to help and see what you guys can figure out together.

now the big but--its use is no good for what has happened to you

or max..we are talking ip seekers..open proxy ids....you are not a open proxy.

and i bet nether are the rest of you...so its useless .

 

2 the proxy must be left open .by ether a careless user that dint (not) log off

or a trapper..

3 in able to find a person by name(nick name) not a hope in Hades..think about this..

 

4 even if i knew your real name .same thing.unless i asked your provider -would he/she give me your or max ip log in number.

fat chance of that happening..

 

5 even if i know your number .right.still got not much hope.unless you are the only user on the net isp--and no one els is...(paying for the service)

i think thy be broke inside 2 days..

the attacker found it .and problem,for 2000 more he/she found.

with a special program thy may use...hitting ISP providers .

hit it .i don't care..i just used this to join...

and your on..! the site will not bother to verify a new starter...

so we are full of duds or any one.any age.that can play havoc...

ok you need to change your Email--you have no option.or get slugged again..

even if you filter it..thy will used this to spam and you get the blame....

hopping from one to the other -doing what ever takes his/her fancy..till thy are closed.killed your your isp man

or spam will keep on entering that email.ad--sit there .if alive..and full of anything from virus to goodness knows what that sent..on the chance it going to enter your pc...by you reading your mail..and to boot if he got your log in id--perhaps fluky to somehow have this . read every thing there .use it at will..do what he/she likes....

and pianfull--hackers know this.the lackluster of users to make it so

is this right..i saw you has the ms apps running.now gone?

 

here is my advice .because you use XP get it back to how you had this..

white MS protection.and what ever fire wall you used and settings..you would or should have it backed up ..

get rid of any thing you have now ,Fix your pc .to the same as 8 weeks or before you added what ever..

you were free of this junk..and set with no problems..so you learned a lesson

if things run nicely why change it because someone tell s you to try this or that..look for your back up (if you still have them) 3 mounts back redo this,get rid of the over cooked fire wall to start with..its up to you...
