ie11 is now on MS's backburner i see nothing for its replacement Spartan/Edge which is available in W10, optimiszation option

You can see related items for Edge in ASC if you have it installed on your computer. :)

 

Do you have Edge installed?

disk error scan reported that MFT bitmap attribute is incorrect >> advised to run chkdsk... did so came back CLEAN

Question:

I have compared ASC 8 and ASC 9

Under Junk files, u see 2 different results:

 

but if i check it with explorer, i see only 1 item!!!

Normally, there is no sense to compare between ASC v8 and ASC v9. However, if you still want to check and make sure, please take steps below:

 

1)Please scan with ASC v8, taking a screenshot of the related scan results screen, then repair issues, after that, please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelperV8.exe

Then double click to run this tool and click “Save report to Desktop”. You will get a zipped file IObit_Debug_Info.zip on your desktop, please rename the zipped file.

 

2)Then scan with ASC v9, taking a screenshot of the related scan results screen, then repair issues, after that, then please run InfoHelperV8.exe again and get the zipped file IObit_Debug_Info.zip.

This could be a bug, but im not exactly sure:

 

The quick look toolbar on my desktop screen does not show the CPU/GPU

 

temperatures and the fan speeds anymore. I recently updated to Windows 10

 

Home and I don't know if that is the cause of why that information has

 

disappeared. If you have actually removed it on purpose, could you please

 

return it back for it is very useful information for me. Thank you

while hard drives test an error in my SSD appears frequently . In reality, no error exists at all. i test it with the Beta 1 ASCv9 - that happens every fourth or fifth time

 

there will be even more betas ?

Yep Edge is installed, reran while it was open still nothing.

@scrd01, Please click Options icon on the top left of ASC v9 main screen, click settings, click Privacy Sweep, then you can check whether Microsoft Edge is listed on the right panel.

The registry cleaner still does not give clear information on what will be removed. For this reason I will still not use the registry cleaner. I hope this gets fixed or I will not be recommending ASC to others, in case it causes problems.

Our specialists says that the situation you mentioned is not an error or a bug in the tool, N/A shown under Registry Value column is because that those registry items don't have values. You can check this by right click on the items and select Open in RegEdit.

I just did an ActiveX and Class scan, and do give one example, one of the detected invalid registry keys, is showing a "Regeistry Value" (a spelling error in the UI) of N/A. However, this is not the case. When selecting Open in RegEdit there is data there - it is not an empty registry key.

 

This is a serious problem that needs to be fixed.

(optional suggestion) - Only thing I could see improvement for in this version of avc is to lower the start up impact so task manager identifies as "medium" when it comes to start up impact, not "high", other than making the program lighter it has literally everything I can ask for ty.
