  1. Nothing is out of sync.

Two different programs that perform different functions.

Uninstaller, monitors the installation of programs, and therefore will report on those programs it has monitored.

Software updater is dedicated to updating programs, so it would be expected to be more accurate.

So, if you have software updater installed, why would you even bother with what Uninstaller has to say.

  2. The only conclusion to be got is that V14 is more aggressive. The theory being that if it clears more then it must be better.

Sadly, more is not always better. I certainly do not recommend using smart/auto ram cleaning.

Windows is actually very good at managing ram, and ram cleaning tools are in effect fighting with windows management.

I only use the manual ram clean in the Performance Monitor, because I use Firefox which has a memory leakage issue, and I only still

rarely use it, usually when FF has been running for days.

Here is a good article which may help you.....https://www.hongkiat.com/blog/does-cleaning-ram-helps/

  3. Thank you for the clarification.

If you have smart ram enabled I presume you have it set to Auto Free. Why then would you manually clear ram with performance monitor.

Also, you do not say whether your Gaming performance is being badly affected in version 14. I am assuming that because a lot of ram is being released, that you are saying that this negatively

    affects your gaming.

The ideal situation is to have as much ram as possible in use as this speeds up your pc as ram is faster than reading from disc. If you are clearing ram while gaming, is it because other

running programs are taking too much ram and this slows down your gaming.

For instance, Firefox has a memory leakage issue which causes it to slowly consume more and more ram.

I am sorry for the questions, but I am trying to figure out what your issue is, other than version 13 and version 14 release different amounts of ram.

  4. You have two issues here...

    1) the setting....Care for your computer when the system is idle....will interfere with the sleep/hibernation function in windows because autocare will see the system as idle.

I suggest that you instead set the autocare to a scheduled time. In fact I have decided to do my autocare manually every three days, because I found autocare was cleaning too often.

    2) There are many issues with Windows regarding Sleep/hibernation. I have found that when I wake up my pc from sleep, I have to click a different key on different occasions....sometimes

it is the enter key other times it is the space bar.

  5. The News & Offers section of the Forum needs to be kept updated.

For example Iobit Uninstaller V10 has not been updated in News & Offers. The last update there is V9.5.

Additionally, Cicely's post of the 16th June 2020 in the Uninstaller section for V10 (https://forums.iobit.com/forum/iobit-uninstaller-10/231188-send-your-feedback-for-iobit-uninstaller-v10)

has a download link for CNET and not Majorgeeks.

Iobit have on numerous occasions assured users that the download link would be a Mojorgeeks link as CNET links have caused huge issues for Users in the past, with

    bundleware etc,....

Surely it is not too much trouble for Iobit to do such simple things as updating the News & Offers section and supplying Majorgeeks links.

If this is indeed too much trouble for Iobit, then please say so. Then Users can be warned that the download links being provided by Iobit are unsafe and if Users

want to download Iobit products they should download them directly from the Majorgeeks site, as the Forum and Iobit links are unsafe.

  6. Hi there

Which part you mean are different? It is not very clear even if we download and magnify the pictures.

    Cicely

I have already stated this to the User. You have just repeated my post, which is not helpful.

I have asked previously, that you wait for the User to reply.

There is very little point in my continuing to post if you are going to appear days or weeks later and just repeat my advice/questions.

If you would prefer to be the only one helping Users, then please let me know and I will stop assisting.

  7. Actually I suggest you look at the photo. It is a Windows photo from the "Show which icons appear in the taskbar" settings, and sadly Windows 10 is so screwed up this rubbish happens.

There is no simple way to remove this. Good old microsoft strikes again.

If the icon appears in your taskbar, you could try right clicking on it and see if there is an option to remove the icon.

  8. If you removed all the folder, then you must have removed imf.exe.

Are you saying that you still have the same issue.

Did you look in your task manager to see if there are any processes for IMF, and if there are right click on them and click "Open File Location" and remove them
