ASC was recommended to me by a friend and ever since then I have been using iobit products. I recommend iobit software to just about everyone and ASC 9 Beta is just as great as I thought it would be. I can't wait to see what else is coming next.
Why did you post the exact same message twice. Please do not do so again.

Snuffy
Sorry, but it is very difficult to understand the point you are trying to make or the question you are asking.
Please give a more detailed explanation. We can only help if we can understand.
-
I suggest that you investigate the internet related functions on ASC.
In Settings.....
1) Disable Realtime Protection function
2) Disable Surfing Protection function
3) Check that the System Optimisation selections are suitable to your requirements.
Did you use the Internet Boost function in ASC Toolbox?

I tried to send feedback on beta 9 through the program and that does not work.
the attachment shows my feedback for you now

I have removed your attached Picture as it includes your email address which should not be for public viewing. Please post your feedback in normal post text.

There is no new version of Advanced System Care Ultimate.

Hi Luigi524td
Welcome to the Forum.
First you should remove the corrupt version of ASC and download the latest version from the News and Updates section of the Forum. This is the best place to download Iobit products. You can also download Iobit Uninstaller from there and use it to Uninstall ASC. Be sure to use the Powerful Scan function to remove all leftovers.
Once you have the latest version of ASC loaded, try running the malware removal and registry fix. If you still have serious malware issues afterwards, you can post in the Spyware-Malware Removal Help section of the Forum.

Hi Pegasus2006
Welcome to the Forum,
Have you tried putting it in the Ignore List

The ASC 9 Beta1.0 Perfomance Monitor fails to load the fan speeds and temps.
Hi IsoQuantic
Please see This topic as it is the same issue and has been resolved.
-
Hi Cicely
This issue is becoming more serious every time it is posted, and telling users not to worry is unacceptable. There is something seriously wrong here. Either Iobit's helpline is being hi-jacked, or Iobit are unable to control their so called Support Partner. I am extremely concerned about this whole business, and it's impact on the reputation of Iobit and the Forum.
The second number which User Lori mentions ( i1- 844-219-1732) is highlighted as a Scam, see this Link
The most worrying part about this is that Iobit do not appear to be dis-associating themselves from this practice/harassment but instead are issuing explanations. This issue needs to be dealt with definitively and finally and all necessary steps taken to prevent other users from being subjected to this harrowing experience.
-
Why are you using "Kill Process Tree"........what exactly are you trying to achieve, by using a command line so you do not have to use the GUI and then having to use "Kill Process Tree" to exit the program??
-
I cannot see logs in settings. logs didn't create.
See This printscreen....

Then do not use it. We do not need to hear about it.
-
Is it possible for a trial version (pro) user to revert back to free?
Yes it is, but why would you want to do that. You do not have to use the Pro features if you do not want to. Just untick them.
-
what is scarey to all my OLDER not Computer Savey is FREE is not really FREE it constantly
scares them they might click the WRONG DL and upgrade, which 2 have done... and the PAY version is well SCAREY to them. so I simply tell them (DO NOT CLICK ANY UPGRADE LINKS) i will come over weekly or 2 weeks and upgrade for them...
I cannot understand why you and they are so scared....if they make a mistake and click upgrade they will be asked to purchase a licence. They can simply exit the system and nothing will happen regarding the upgrade.
The difference between free and paid is the buying of the licence, for which you would have to give payment details.
-
Hi Falling Rock
I agree completely. I have made my dissatisfaction with the handling of this issue very clear. See This Topic. Iobit's failure to deal with this issue and to provide a definitive response is extremely disappointing.
-
Smart Defrag is nice as a defrag but cleaning it does not do a super job, every program needs to clean again, MS find many things if leaves, and Win8manger finds much, so the cleaner is a DUH, but defrag is great
Snuffy
Defrag is just that.....it defragments files. It does not clean. Maybe you should explain what you mean by cleaning??
-
Hi Jimarox
Welcome to the Forum.
If what you are saying is in fact the case, then I understand why you are upset.
However, posting negative comments about the very product for which you are chasing your licence, is hardly the way to encourage assistance.
You could have saved yourself a lot of grief, by reading through the Forum, where you would have found immediate assistance and solution to your problem.
If you send a PM (Private Message) to Cicely , who is the Iobit liaison for the Forum, I am confident that she will resolve your issue immediately.
-
Hi elpeacen
Welcome to the Forum.
How are you so sure that it was an Iobit support person. Your situation sounds exactly like the warning in the OP (opening post), which would suggest it is a scam and not connected to Iobit.
-
I sincerely hope that Iobit do not follow these suggestions. At present users have the flexibility to choose exactly which programs they would like to use/download. Loading everything into ASC would simply make ASC incredibly bloated which is unnecessary and counter productive.
-
Hi Enoskype
Yes, that is a problem. Unfortunately the Table functions on this version are very weak as well. I tried importing an Excel spreadsheet but to no avail. I made the table more to give Cicely an idea as to an easier/more efficient way of doing the updates, instead of having to do an individual post each time there is an addition. Maybe she can get her Technicians or vBulletin to come up with something. It would be easier for users also as they would not have to trawl through endless posts to find something.

Very unhappy ex user of Smart Defrag 4 here.
Lost 42 Gb.....after 2 sessions of "defragmenting". It's not 1-2 Gb, although that is also a big deal. It is 42 Gb!!!
That is right - 42 GB.
No thanks, never ever using Iobit products again.
But you have to advise on how to regain back my hard drive space which mysteriously vanished, because I am holding Iobit responsible.
At the very least, I will lose a lot of time and also suffer a lot of stress trying to regain that hard drive space lost.
Hi Zzedee,
Thanks for your feedback.
To look into the issue, please take the steps as follows:
1) Which defrag methods did you choose?
2) Please let us know the free space of your disk before and after defrag.
3) If the free space decreased after defrag, please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/SD4InfoHelper.exe
Then double click to run this tool and click “Save report to Desktop”. You will get a zipped file IObit_Debug_Info.zip on your desktop. Please send it to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Cicely
Please see Post#265 which I moved here from another topic by the userZzedeef which contains the info.

Firstly, your assumption that I am a younger person does you no credit. I did not understand because your description was vague and truncated.
Secondly, your previous post (#317) is a much better description of your difficulties, and easy to understand. Additionally, I agree with you wholeheartedly regarding the updating/upgrading issue. Iobit's current marketing strategy has long been criticised in the Forum by all age groups and sadly has been largely ignored by Iobit. So this is not a young/old thing.
Please also ensure that your friends do not use the Tech Support facility, as it is operated by a so called partner of Iobit and is tantamount to a scam and is not being addressed by Iobit.
It is best to use the Forum for assistance, and or email Iobit directly at support@iobit.com
I personally do not use the update system. Instead, I keep an eye on News & Updates section of the Forum. If there is a newer version of an Iobit product which I wish to have then I download it and install it. It usually installs over the previous version, but if it does not then I use Iobit Uninstaller to uninstall the older version. You can also uninstall the older version before you install the new.
With regard to Smart Defrag not recognising the SSD. This issue has been raised many times in the SD forum. Please see Here for a solution.
