    Some of you may get this error message “Failed to load the recording library.” from iFun Screen Recorder and fail to record.

    The reason for the issue is might be because that the security programs ( Avast, AVG, McAfee, Norton, Malwarebytes, Kaspersk, etc.) block the files from iFun Screen Recorder and cause you not be able to record.

    To solve the issue, please take the steps as follows:

    1)Please find the security program on your PC and add iFun Screen Recorder into its White List

    Take Avast as an example:

    1. Open the Avast Antivirus user interface and select >> Menu >> Settings.
    2. Ensure the General tab is selected, then click Exceptions.
    3. Click the Add Exception button to add our file to the exception list.

    Please download the latest version ASC 14.3 from Major Geeks. Then use your license code to activate it again.

    Sorry for my late reply.

    Please try the following way to solve your issue:

    1)Please download the latest iFun Screen Recorder v1 from  https://cdn.iobit.com/dl/ifun-screen-recorder-setup.exe to reinstall and see whether the issue continues.

    2)Please click Options in the main screen -> Click Settings-> click Recommended ->click Yes to restore to default settings to see whether the issue repeats.

    3)If the above two steps did not work, please try to add our programs into the White List of your Security program such as Malwarebytes and Avast.

    Please also download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelper.exe.

    Double click to run this tool on the PC with problem and click 'Save report'. 
    After it finishes, you will get a pop up window to tell you where the report file IObit_Debug_Info.zip is saved. Click 'OK' button to open that saved folder.  
    Send the zipped file to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.

    If the issue persists, please provide us some screenshots related to the issue. 

    And please follow the steps below to send us the debug file for further checking.

    Does it suspend 30 seconds every time?

    If yes, please use your phone or camera to make a video about the issue and send the video to us for further checking? And please follow the steps below to send us the debug file.

    Do you mean that you have Webcam, but iFun Screen Recorder did not detect it?

    It so,please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelper.exe.

    Double click to run this tool on the PC with problem and click 'Save report'.

    After it finishes, you will get a pop up window to tell you where the report file IObit_Debug_Info.zip is saved. Click 'OK' button to open that saved folder.  

    Send the zipped file to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.

    Are you sure it is ASC that turned on Windows Updates back? If yes, do you know which function of ASC caused it? Please tell us what actions you took and which module of ASC you ran, then the trouble came out.

    We have many enthusiastic users like Scannan who are very professional and knowledgeable about our products and help us answer other users' question very timely. Usually, if they have already provided a solution, we will not reply to the users again.

    As for the feedback "I ran ASC and it removed 200 MB something junk but I got the feeling it left much more so I tried CCleaner and Voila it removed another 1.2 GB over what ASC removed so that's a huge difference", please uncheck the following two options in the Junk File Clean settings next time when you use ASC to clean junk files:

    - Keep Windows Temp Files and Memory Dumps for the last

    - Keep files in Recycle Bin for the last"
