Is it Microsoft Edge based on Chromium? If it is this one, we are afraid that Advanced SystemCare Ultimate doesn't support it now. It will be improved in Advanced SystemCare Ultimate 14. If not, we guess there, is something wrong, could you please follow the steps below to provide us with the requested file for our further investigation.
1) Download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelper.exe
2) Double click to run this tool on the PC with problem and click 'Save report'.
3) After it finishes, you will get a popup window to tell you where the report file IObit_Debug_Info.zip is saved. Click 'OK' button to open that saved folder.
4) Send the zipped file to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.
If the mail can't be delivered because of IObit_Debug_Info.zip, please upload it to http://www.wikisend.com/ and then send the upload link to us.

Unfortunately when I hit the "X" in the top right corner the program closes without giving me the possibility to use even the free version therefore there is no way to enter my license.
I used the free version for a while and as I liked it I wanted to use the PRO version.

Please take steps below to send us the requested file if you still get the same error message after you reinstall IObit Uninstaller from the link offered by Scannan.
1. Download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/GetIObitConfigurationFile.exe
2. Double click GetIObitConfigurationFile.exe to run it, click the button 'Save report to Desktop'
3. Wait for a while until you see a file IU_logs_YYYYMMDD.log generated on your desktop.
4. Send that file iu_logs_YYYYMMDD.log to us.

Currently, our program files are detected as PUP (potentially unwanted programs) by Malwarebytes. However, PUP is a very controversial topic since it also makes legit programs as PUP. Please read the articles below including Enigma Software's lawsuit against Malwarebytes for the later’s anticompetitive practices and Enigma won this lawsuit.Actually, we are basically in the same situation as Enigma.

We contacted MBAM to resolve this issue several months ago but the flag is still there. So it would be better if you can also help us by asking Malwarebytes to remove this detection.
In order to continue using our programs, please follow the solution below.
Launch your Malwarebytes program >> go to its Settings >> click Protection >> find Potential Threat Protection, change the settings for Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs) from Treat PUPs as malware (recommended) to Ignore Detections. Then reinstall our program.

Well, there should be many situations (including formatting, reinstalling, upgrading your computer, or replacing HD, Motherboard, CPU, etc.,) that our program will recognize your PC as a new one and then needs you to activate the Pro versions again. If you lost your license code, please do not worry. In your description, you reset your OS that is why you need to register again.
