Thanks for helping us translate ASC into Multi-language.:-D

 

You can find the original English language file as follows:

 

C:\Program Files\IObit\Advanced SystemCare 7\Language\English.lng (Usually path)

and

C:\Program Files\IObit\Advanced SystemCare 7\Toolbox_Language\English.lng (Usually path)

 

Please comply with the following translation principles:

 

1. The translated file should be saved in Unicode format.

 

2. The name of the translation file should be Yourlanguage.lng. E.g: If your language is French, then the name of the translation file should be French.lng .

 

3. Some codes should not be translated or modified including "%s", "%d", "<a>%d</a>" ,"<a>%s</a>", "%u", "%.0n", "{0}", "%d%%", 100% and 300%.

 

4. DisplayName should also be your own mother tongue. E.g: If your language is French, then it should be DisplayName=Français.

Instead of using the Layout on ASC 6 way don't we go back to ASC 5 it was a much nicer layout then ASC 6.

 

ASC 6 has one too many bugs as is and 7 does not need the annoying action center it will cause more problems then it fixes.

 

And most people are using Malwarebytes Pro not Iobit malware fighter.

Hello. :) I know that XP is used by many users but it's from 2002! I'm sure that you know that for 12 years many things have been changed in digital world. Windows 8.1 is really very good OS /no matter that it's in beta now/ so users must be forced to update to newer OS! Also XP support will be dropped next year / by Microsoft / so ... :) I don't see why modern optimization and antivirus products have to support it when newer OS are working even faster and they're more secured. :)

So I'll ever claim that people must get rid of XP! :)

Check out Jet Clean. There are two things that it thinks it is better at is Powerful yet Lightweight and One click solution. Would like to improvements made in these areas.

timer update

 

To counter Zero hour threats, the AV database should have a timer option installed

ie 60min/120/240/360/etc/daily as a settings option, or an auto imposed ZHT option, (as and when).

Would like to see Driver Booster add to the new version. One other thing that would be Great to add is like a decrap like jv16 PowerTools 2013 that gets rid of the preinstalled stuff them comes with computers that you buy from ASUS, HP, DELL, Toshiba, and Acer and so on. This would help people take it off. Most people do not want the stuff that comes with there computers.

Not sure exactly how often ASCU >>>CHECKS<<< for database updates:

ie on logon/delayed, but you could introduce an option to check either at a specific time or every X minutes, using a dropdown facility when the programmme is first downloaded as part of the set-up proceedure.

a big ask but an option to image a drive, especially now that w8.1 is scrappeing the w7 image tool.

 

a lot of users here use macrium reflet as a result of posts by garybear, would be great if iobit could have this function.

ASC is already a good all round tool hard to think what else to add for the future how about a venture into an all round media player now that w8 has restrictions in WMP, many free ones out there but none as good.

There's no point giving suggestion about UI , it's gonna be Metro ...:-x How i know ? Just look at other programs .. Everyone is making metro style UI ... because of sh!tty Windows 8 ... _ :(

 

Best interface was on V5 .

I miss old days "quick care and deep care" ..

Now we have "expert mode and simplified mode" lol really ?

After registry defrag finishes defragging, the program should force a reboot without prompting. Before the execution, the program should tell the user that the system will reboot immediately after registry defrag

It'll be good if Turbo Boost has Battery saving mood and Max Performance Mood. :) Not only one / and there isn't any information what it does / .

 

Also add function to protect ASC settings with master password! :)

more info on regisrty scanning by showing in a new comments column which software program it relates too, seen similar a few months ago on other software and thought what a great idea, it helps take the unkown risk out of deleting it and if it goes wrong you know which software to re install.
