Accusation Thread - Dispute

Unbelievable

I'm not sure who's deleting these threads, as I too believe people's voices should be heard. This I will agree on, as it is unjust, and strips away the members from questioning. Without questioning anything, we cant get anywhere.

Iobit is lurking in dangerous waters, as is MBAM. One will try anything to disprove the other. Members attacking members, however, is something that should not be tolerated, as it gets us nowhere.

Mr. Administrator how can you say that someone is deleting the threads...then why the threads that are by administrators and those in favour of you not deleted......any answers????

Mr. k4you, I said i dont like the idea of it being deleted, but if they find it necessary, then I do not want to have another fight over it.

My personal beliefs are not the same with some of the other people. Having multiple threads with the same topic is rather pointless, wouldn't you agree?

Im not saying that is what happened, we could sit here and throw out millions of possibilities. But the fact still remains, that it MIGHT have been possible.

First step in the good way. There's no million of possibilities, as you can see, i have the 2 database to compare. (no, I won't post it )

IOBit database include MBAM one. It can't be something else. For exemple, the replace.db from yours match with the MBAM one. (typo carbon copy of Google.com, and rules). Also the replace.db, the strings.db...

Your not understanding the message im trying to get out. But I will repeat one last time. There are a million ways this could have happened, but there is only 1 truth. I chose to wait and see the "legal" statement iobit releases, then pass my judgment. As of now, i take no sides.

IOBit has already said:

We have never used or copied the database of any other company

No need to wait more. The "only 1 truth" is that big parts of IOBit database exactly matches with MBAM database.

You ideology makes no sense. Just because Iobit found the same thing MBAM does, they steal?

I'm sorry, but you can put up 360, SAS, and MBAM, and they will find the same thing(s).

As I've said before, I am not taking sides, your cause is just as plausible as their innocence. I'm not on the investigation team, I cant tell you whats really going on, I can only throw out possibilities.

we ya stop following me ?

ehh i have ta turn on a ather pc now ya ta fast !

Yea...but honestly, i think Iobit should lock the forum completely while they investigate. Users arguing against each other is FUTILE.

Locking forum would be wrong.

Shutting down implies guilt to the observer. Deleting threads as some senior membJers are complaining about doesn't help either. I understand where you're coming from. Bunch of hacks signed in with 3 to 7 usernames recently to pound this forum and people into submission.

Aint gonna happen!

Unless you let it.

Quit stopping threads/activity!

Freedom of internet/speech/humanity/reason will resolve it.

Hi,

It happened these two days a bunch of kids who would better to go crying in their sandboxes instead of coming to spit their venom in this forum! they have to return on that of the accuser!

They must let the great discuss calmly

For IObit is best to continue working on the product to improve it, give directions and enjoy the rumor into a springboard.

Cheers

My Friend

Hi titou56,

You are always my friend in my opinion. Thanks so much for your supporting of our work:smile:

Sometimes you can ignore what others have said because you must keep your good mood. The world is so beautiful; why not go out for a vacation. Just relax~8-)

Having iobit and mbam work this out is much more efficient, and benifical to all then us sitting here and complaining and attacking each other.

I speak from a neutral point of view, and i wish for the time being all will do the same.

it's not ideology, the previous link I post show you I reverse IOBit database.

I did the same for MBAM.

It's not what IOBit found the same things MBAM does, it's MBAM rules and definitions copy/paste byte by byte to IOBit.

Let's analyze the questions from Malwarebytes.

a) Don't.Steal.Our.Software.A.. It's a mistake that one of our analyzers used the same name submitted by the user. Key_Generator.exe is an existing malware to crack Malwarebytes products. Now we call such keygens as "Trojan.Gen", including Keygen for IObit products.

b) Trap: dummy.exe, rogue.exe, fake.exe. It's very ridiculous and has a wrong logic. There are hundreds of malware coming up everyday and many malware have very similar or even the same "signature code". We did catch malware, by DOG heuristic engine, with the same "signature code" with the "made-by-malwarebytes" programs.

For example, rogue.exe has the same signature code with the malware "NOTSURE.dll" (VirusTotal: http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/e...022-1257255852). “NOTSURE.dll” was submitted by someone called "KXX" and described as "Rogue.AVCleanSweepPro" detected by Malwarebytes. Our analyzer carelessly used the same name. Now this kind of malware is renamed as "Heuristic.newTrojan".

So now IOBits claimed it was a "careless mistake" from one of their analyst "yawn".. If so, IOBits should find and fire that analyst for his mistake lol.. Then apologize to Malwarebytes' for all this "confuse-ness" lol.. That lazy analyst has tarnished your so called "reputation"..

I felt pity for you coz in all honesty, I felt IOBits make such wonderful programs but then.. You copy someone's else work without permission?

At least be brave and be a man, admit your mistakes and apologize.. Is that so hard eh?

Its funny how your beginning and ending statement argue each other. First you say it "was" a mistake, and then you say, your copying someone?

I called it as "copying someone else" because I did test your product and comparing with Malwarebytes' and yes, I believe Malwarebytes' indeed has a case against IOBits..

Krissy called it a "mistake".. I only quote him/her..

Here is a definition for you:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ei=6krxSp3ZAZOqswPguJn4AQ&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&ved=0CAQQBSgA&q=define:+ideology&spell=1

Just because they find the same thing, doesn't justify Iobits plagiarism.

it's not ideology, it's proof.

I'm not speaking of the things they found.

I'm speaking of the decoded rules, definitions, strings.. call it what you want.

IOBit strings.db database matches with MBAM. offset, data and strings.

This could happen once, but not like this, when you have the same definitions for hundred following same rules.

Whatch the pic: http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/3559/iobit.png

I highlighted the 11-1 definition for a generic Malware.Packer. Offset 0, followed by data. There are thousands of this in both database.
