This morning (9-28-2019) my Samsung J7 Star (SM-J737T) running Android 9 gave me a Play Protect warning when I attempted to open the Notification Cleaner from the pull-down (screen shot attached)
Please advise - I'm reluctant to uninstall but wary of "Open anyway"

Firstly....you will not get a response from Iobit on the weekend. Soonest you can expect a response from them is Monday.
Regarding your issue.....the screenshot you provided is a bit confusing....
Is the screenshot generated by some protection programme which is warning you that AMC is suspect, and if so, what is the protection programme generating the message.
Or
Is the message being generated by AMC, warning you about an app.

First thing to do is to post in the correct forum. Your question is regarding ASC yet you post in the Smart Defrag section.

Is there a 'portable' ASC? Install on flashdrive?
See this topic......https://forums.iobit.com/forum/advanced-systemcare/advanced-systemcare-12/226226-portable-version

Ok i get it. You finally convinced me that you are the 'bad guys" and that your software indeed compromise system's security instead of strenghtening it. I'm done with your product
We are not the bad guys. Iobit are the bad guys. This is a volunteer forum populated by non-iobit people, who volunteer their time to help others.
Iobit are supposed to support us with assistance, and up to a couple of years ago they did. Now, we rarely hear from them. It is sad because the products are excellent.
I suggest that you temporarily disable your security software and then install ASC. If it installs without issue you should reactivate your security software and run a scan with the security software.
If there are files in ASC which it considers unsafe they will be flagged (most likely as pup's because Iobit install marketing items with their programs and some security softwares consider these to be invasive..) you can then put the said files in your security software ignore list' (s).
As regards to Iobit, they seem to be concentrating on FB and Twitter now, so you can send a negative review to those platforms and that may get their attention.

Nice one.
Don't hold your breath waiting for a response from Iobit. They are practically non-existent on the forum.
Anyway, maybe this will entice them to dump this crappy vBulletin which never worked properly since the last upgrade.

Follow the directions already given in this topic, to identify the culprit.

You have gone to all the trouble of building a new PC, but you did not think it was worth the effort to search the forums for an answer to your question.
This question has been answered many times. You do not even tell us which Iobit programme you are using. So I will assume it is ASC.
I will reluctantly answer the question for you.
Open ASC. Click on manage licence. Select the option "Export Licence".
If you are as lazy building your new PC as you are with searching for answers, then I wish you good luck.

I got a cryptocurrency miner almost immediately after re-installing my OS and had to turn off that file from the autorun list though msconfig. I can't identify where the virus is located exactly.
If you have identified the file so you could turn it off, then you can use the search facility in windows explorer to locate it and delete it.
-
Well, then that removes one possibility. Try putting Articad in the ignore list.
As you can see from the lack of response, you are not going to get any help from Iobit, so we will have to try and solve it ourselves.
-
Check the Registry Clean settings to see if the Deep Clean function is enabled.
If it is then Disable it and see if that solves the issue. The Deep Clean function is very aggressive and can cause issues.
Also, you can use the |gnore List in ASC settings to prevent specific items from being scanned.

I have moved your post to the Briver Booster section and renamed it. You do not seem to spend much time looking for the correct thing to do to resolve a situation.
It is very important that you read the instructions when you buy anything over the net.
It appears that you must have ticked the Auto-renewal box when you bought DB.
Why did'nt you simply get your credit card company to stop the payment?
You should contact Iobit via email here....feedback@iobit.com
Note: You should make the subject line "For attention of Cicely". AlsoYou should reference this Topic in the email, so they know you posted on the Forum.

Yesterday I updated my drivers with iobit driver booster v6. Before this all of my USB ports were detecting devices fine, now there’s only one working. How can I fix this? Do I have to undo an update or something simuliar?
Thanks in advance!
Use the driver rollback feature to undo the Universal Serial Bus Control drivers update, and you will be back to the original driver from before the update.
See if this solves the issue.

It was functional for me and works now. Apart from the naming of the variables I only had to change the last line by adding brackets around password.

Anyone please
I am sorry that you have not received a response to your issue.
I do not use Malware Fighter but I did try to find an answer for you but I was unsuccessful, as this does not seem to be a common fault.
Unfortunately Iobit's support contribution to the Forum has deteriorated drastically, and Iobit support now rarely responds to issues in the Forum.
The only recommendation I can make is that you contact Iobit directly via email. this often works where users need help. If you do succed with a solution,
please post it here as it may hel others.
You can contact Iobit here....feedback@iobit.com

i have a function that i would like to share, which may be added in the new version of advanced systemcare 13. That and deleting recoverable files, some wipers or optimizers have that ideal function to delete files.
ASC already has that function.
1) Enable Secure File Deletion in Junk Files Clean settings
2) File Shredder in ASC Toolbox

I still think this is a windows update issue.
Have a look at this solution.
-
You are giving very little information, which makes it difficult to provide assistance.
Did you identify which ASC function is causing the issue, as per the procedure outlined.
-
-
I don't understand. You are saying that DB caused the issue because it updated with an unsuitable driver. But you said in your original post that you reverted to the original drivers and that
did not solve the issue.
If it was an unsuitable driver that caused the issue then reverting to the old drives should have solved it.

It is sad that Iobit have not responded to your post. Did you email them?
If you have ASC (advanced systemcare) you can run system restore from the Rescue Centre.
If not google how to do system restore on windows. It is quite easy.
Also, if you have ASC you should run Registry Cleaner.
A tech guy could cost you a lot of money.

You can send an email to Iobit at...feedback@iobit.com
The issue you have described is a Criminal issue and as such should be reported to police. Unless you do this thie scam will continue.
Before installing any software you should investigate it by googling it and looking at forums. This way you will know whether it is a trusted program or not.
If you had looked here in the Forum before you purchased DB you would have seen that it is not necessary to contact anyone in order to have it installed.
Did you purchase DB from a third party or directly from Iobit.??
When you say you had to uninstall everything they installed....how did you know what they installed.
You say that Iobit Uninstaller did not remove everything. therefore you must know the items which Uninstaller did not remove. Did you try to remove them manually.
If you cannot remove them then post a list of the items here so that we can help you.
Did you run a malware scan and an anti-virus scan to check for infection.
Did you try restoring your computer to a time before this issue occurred, using system restore.

Just to be clear.....the Admins/Moderators on this Forum are not Iobit employees. We are ordinary users who volunteer their time to assist other users.
I replied to the OP's question and the issue was subsequently answered by other users.
I also made it quite clear (as I have done many times before) not to expect much help from Iobit.
As Admins/Mods we cannot force Iobit to provide a better service, and even though we have continuously asked them for better support, we have been all but ignored.
