I use your program and i also recommend it to everyone i know.

For me its perfect but i have one suggestion:

If i have "pro" version of program why after update to new version you degrade it to "free" if i pay for it?

This is so wrong, you should at list give "pro" version for some specific time to people who already pay for full version.

 

If you put in your license code from ASC 6 Pro it will activate ASC 7 as well.

I have installed every version (pretty much anyways) of ASC since before ASC 2013 with Antivirus. I was just wondering if there is any way of uninstalling the other versions to save space, or can I even do it? Or maybe are the older files needed for ASC 7 to function?

 

Just curious because my Program Files folder is looking pretty crowded with all of the different versions in there.

 

You can uninstall the version that you aren't using from : Computer / This PC / - Uninstall or change a program / For Windows 8.1, Windows 8 , Windows 7 /

Or Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs for Windows XP!

 

You must know that the current version of ASC 7 is different than ASC with antivirus! ASC 7 still doesn't have updated ULTIMATE edition / with Antivirus /! I recommend you to use only PRO/Free or Ultimate. ASC with Antivirus / Ultimate / will be also upgraded in the end of the year to version 2014!

the short time I've used ASC 7, I like it. Having UAC not pop up is a good idea. The option of switching between Letters and smiley is nice. Some might prefer a letter instead of a smiley.

Running the scan and fix took a total of 5 minutes. I'm running an ASUS M2N-E board, AMD Phenom 9850 Quad-Core with 7GB RAM on Win7 Pro SP1 32-bit.

The turbo boost made a marked gain in application start.

Program Deactivator is a nice feature. It gives tyou an idea of how the selected program affects the start-up, shut-down and eneral operation of your system.

I like the Auto Shutdown feature.

 

So far, I like the operation of ASC 7.

Actually, when the final version of ASC v7 is released. If you have ASC v6 Pro, you can update to ASC v7 Pro automatically. And users can update to the latest ASC Pro for free in the valid service time of their license code.:mrgreen:

I'm in love with ASC7, but one thing I've noticed is that even though my internet connection is down, I can run ASC7 and it will tell me all of the viruses and problems it's found.

 

After I run ASC7, it tells me everything is cleared up, but if I run it again, the same "problems" show up again. How is that possible??

So Far So Good!

 

I have been using Advanced System Care for years and it just keeps getting better! I have compared ASC7 to Glary Utilities simultaneously, side by side and found that ASC7 is generally a better clean up utility. There are a couple things that would make it even better like, when first installing it should locate any malware/virus that is already on your computer and not just the ones that try to come in AFTER, and it should be mentioned that Malware Fighter is only a basic scan that needs assistance from another anti-virus, when doing an upgrade it should put all the old versions together in one folder and access those files as needed instead of allowing multiple versions to show up in the program list. One concern I have is that I did a side by side scan of ASC6 & ASC7 and while I was extremely impressed with the speed of 7, it seemed that version 6 uncovered more errors. I wonder if the speed is taking away from the depth of the scan? Also, I ran a second scan immediately after the repair and found no problems but when I opened the toolbox and did an individual scan of each, I found the same errors that were "fixed" in the one clickarea. I do maintenance on my friends and families computers and have installed ASC on every one of them. I tell them to use the free version for 30 days to see the difference while reminding them if their old programs worked I wouldn't have been asked for help and encourage them to buy their license for the PRO version. For their needs and my own, ASC is the best clean-up around. The few minor tweaks mentioned above would make ASC7 the only one needed other than an anti-virus that checks deeper into the system. Even though you provide a deeper check remotely and offer a monthly service for the anti-virus protection, you should at least allow this program to locate them or provide a disclaimer stating that it can't/won't. All that being said, I personally will continue to purchase and use ASC and will keep telling everyone I assist to do the same.

This is a REALLY bad way to stuff your other products down our throats, and is entirely inappropriate. The Start Menu 8 is not bad, but like very many others, I do not want it... and resent ASC telling me there is something that needs to be FIXED!!!

 

Please remove it from there.

Currently, we have improved the settings for Actions Center and user can Hide Action center.

 

For the issue you mentioned, do you have any good ideas to let our users know that IObit has developed more cool programs that they may be interested in? You know we are work hard to find the balance and we need all of your wisdom to help us improve our products.

I know you can HIDE the WHOLE Action Centre, but that is not the way to deal with this issue... the point of the Action Centre is to tell the user that there are issues they MUST attend to. Installing Start8 is NOT an issue they every need to attend to, so this undermines the validity of this panel... which is very bad IMO.

 

Special offers/other products must NEVER be shown as things the user MUST FIX!

 

Perhaps they can be on another tab to the right of Action Centre called Offers or in the menu to the top right with "Download IOBit Software"

Start8 has NOTHING to do with system performance, nothing to do with boot up speed and does not belong in a place where a user relies on software that FIXES PROBLEMS.

Start8 has NOTHING to do with system performance, nothing to do with boot up speed and does not belong in a place where a user relies on software that FIXES PROBLEMS.

Hey man I am not talking about start 8 rather about ASC 7. It should have a special utility for that .

Because I've noticed that ASC 6 retards the boot of windows 8.
